- @MerlinsOldSchoolGarage is building his 550 Porsche Spyder kit car replica and he has not done much to it yet. There is much more fabrication and mock up to complete before he can proceed with gluing the fiberglass. He has special plans for this car so he will need to take speed and racing into consideration while completing this build.

We all wish the fiberglass parts actually fit. The fiberglass front end on my Nova was and still is a bunch of work. Nice to see a fellow sufferers

After seeing your shop, Fab Rats, Chads, Matt’s and others on CZcams I have a theory. Shops are like closets, no matter how large or many at some point they get filled up.
Just adding in the headlight buckets gave the whole front end the start of it's personality. Cool build and a lovely daughter!

Fun stuff setting up doors, I suicided my 29 pickup doors and replaced all the wood with steel. I built the doors from door skins and made power windows work in the inner door boxes I made. Lot's of T&E (trial and error)....😊

It's a kit just put it together like a model car right ? We wish life was that simple. I got involved with helping a friend trying to build a Cobra replica, similar challenges nothing fits as it should. Looked like a nice wedding with select friends and family instead of a stressful waste .

Time lapse fabrication is so nice Merlin. I love the Pepsi machine idea (always have) and that machine is '80s so there is a way to bypass the slot and have it dispense for free. Also thinking of anyone could bypass the lock latch...its you 👽🗿👽🗿👽
One that I've Learned about Fiberglass part's. They never fit like they are soppose to fit. You have to Rework them ti fit right if you want them to be Perfect.❤
