  • Here is a MAKE$ or COST$ tool review about the Rac-A-Tac.. Apparently my opinion is very controversial, but this is just not a money maker for me... give it a watch and decide for yourself.

This racatac in particular is designed for painting hand rails and base boards. If you want a more convenient racatac for laying tile you are going to need chest support. 👍

You need the chest support. Not sure why they sell it without it. The seat is for doing stuff at mid level. The chest support is for ground.

I will buy all the ones for 50$ that you don’t want, I have 4? Doing flooring for 30 years installed for 20, Demoing for 10 exclusively. Not sure if you don’t do flooring for a living how you can have an opinion to help others in the industry.

Do these things mar wood floors? I bought a cheap one from harbor freight... Really cheap.. Picture a sideways skateboard with cushions for your knees lol... I kind of liked it, particularly when doing nail down hardwood floor. But after i got about 8 feet into the room and i was using it on top of the new hardwood, i realized indents in the wood. It looked like i rolled a refrigerator across the new wood (several times) It was horrendous.. Had to rip it all out and start over. That incident has kept me from spending on the real deal.

Completely disagree. I use it for measuring and cutting base. I love it.

Fixed casters in the rear-errr the back, should help the side squirrel shuffle.
But its hard to find a comfortable position, unlike on your knees where you can roch to a more upright position.

kneel-it works completely different, and comes with a chest rest.

    Beautiful review
I sensed this already, but you saved me 300 dollars. I really have enjoyed my Troxell knee pads, and am getting yet another set it looks like.

I am 6 ft 4. Do you think this would actually work for someone as tall as I? I'm just wondering where my backside would end up on the tool. I don't know if they make one that extends

Want to sell it? I’m in the market for one.. I had a bad ankle injury and just had an ankle replacement... need this over knee pads to elevate the strain on my ankle.
