    ingenious. great vid. Knock out two problems knees and back. Really sweet how you have everything on wheels. Great thinking.

    Finally! Someone that trowels the mortar properly! I was taught to lay and swirl the tile slightly, but the troweling in the same direction is the key. I had a small deadblow hammer with cork on one face. Just to lightly tap. Deadblow gives perfect control. God I wish I had that cart when laid tile. Both vinyl and ceramic!!!. Good...no...GREAT WORK!

      So many asians who don't butter tiles in Sydney, it's a bloody epidemic. I had to tile the floor myself, cause noone in my budget range would butter my 6x6 p4 tiles. In the end I found a bloke, and he didn't complain and actually said, yes I'm excited we get to do the job right.
      But yeah, notches in same direction and move tiles up n down gives better bond. My knees were fkd after 5 days of floor tiling.
      This bloke does a top job... Quick too.

    Spotted that flooring bicycle at the jobsite i had to google it ! It seems verry efficient the way you work with everything on wheels, the tiles upside down already to backbutter them. I do tile occasionally but your method is a lot better, careful with that wheelie at 2:46, ever face planted from that kart ?

  • @cjkcommercialflooring5674

    good job boy. I do tile work to we're the best .I never use this racatac I will try

    Did you make the endo stop on the front to keep it from flipping forward or did it come with that?

    That stool might be nice for when I am on my knees, scrubbing the floor. But doing his job, I would wear gloves to avoid skin contact with chemicals in that cement.

      @stuartwordsworth5710  Před 5 lety +2

      Thanks George, I agree I should (and normally do) wear gloves, but you gotta admit I'm running pretty clean here with no adhesive on my hands lol

    • @darraghgoggins1734
      @darraghgoggins1734 Před 4 lety

      You should wear gloves and if you don’t It does ruin your hands quickly. However most tilers I know hate the thought of wearing gloves.😂

    I finally broke down and got the Rubi version today. But it doesn't come with the chest rest, only the seat. Bummer. Better than the cheap red one I've had for years from Lumber Liquidators! That one sucked panda balls!

  • @TheChavez1976
    @TheChavez1976 Před 4 lety

    It’s great but the problem still is that you’re on your knees in hunched over position. Yours still gonna fuck your body up doing tile. Lol

    Minimal effort collapsing your Trowel ridges. Shame on you. But good job keying in spreading and back buttering.
