Easier way to do this: 2 Wave Texture nodes set to Triangle, one in X, the other in Y direction, send both into a Mix Color node set to darken with factor 1, then into a color ramp with default settings, then into a Bump node, and finally into the normal slot of your principled shader.

Can you do this with txt and labels? Say if you wanted to create your own cosmetic labels in Blender can you bake it as a normal map?
Will there be a video for texturing the rest of the gun, or was that done in another software (such as substance painter)?
Everything is done in Blender. Texturing is and will continue to be featured in the new AK series
