BSIDE ADMS9CL is even more of a letdown than its predecessor the ADMS7. The improved EBTN display can't negate this multimeters lacklustre performance. Buggy..dysfunctional and anything but SMART.

Yes I did have the older Aneng version but needless to say not any more. I thought at first there were going to be alot of improvements but that notion was soon scuppered. Thanks again Darren.
It's really mind boggling how this is such a popular dmm despite its mountains of shortcoming and deceptive branding. Oh well...KOT Derek!

the reason it takes a little longer for continuity is because its an auto multimeter and its checking what its testing, same as the kewtech which is three times as expensive
Sorry...There's many auto Ranging multimeters that are 10x as fast in continuity mode. No, it's not that its autoranging it's just that it's a lousy multimeter....

I think 1926 means the 26th week of 2019. Thats how these things are usually labeled and it keeps the number of digits at 4. For example December 28 would be 1952 instead of 191228

You goin "AUTO" mode every time can you set device for whatever u gonna measure before you start? that can help and you compare ADMS9CL to ADMS7 do you know ADMS9 exists? Think again and make video again please...

screen dims, but as soon as probes used, it goes bright again. £15 gbp off ebay. simple and quick pocket tester. nice.

Ive been wanting a seriously improved revision of these big display smart meters to like ever since the first ones came out, but it appears they somehow have actually missed the mark yet again - by at least two light years. Accurate voltage readings are a minimal given on any modern meter, but that said the only thing that theyve really improved and actually works better is the NCV & LIVE gimmick ranges - and the strap. The EBTN screen plays hide and seek, continuity is loud but lazy, input protection sucks harder than a hurricane going through a keyhole, frequency is in fact uselessly INfrequent, capacitance is slower than a 90 year old prostate and the bar graph has obviously had one too many. One good feature that's remained consistant about this meter is the leads are permanently and securely attached, making them extremely handy for whipping and slamming this meter smartly into the trash can where it does the most good by ending an intense source of aggravation and disappointment. ;^)

Another stupid smart meter. Good review, thanks! What's up with Bside? Their little clamp meter you reviewed has been great, I've used it a lot. But this meter is a POS.
And these pocket meters with the non removable leads need to come with a wallet type carrying case. I can forgive it not having one if it was $10, but for $30 it's unforgivable. It shouldn't add more than $3 to the price of a Chinese multimeter and I wouldn't buy a pocket meter without one.

Even a basic plastic sleeve would be better than nothing! BSIDE chose the to negate the basics and still charge a premium. I hope next time they listen and step up to the plate!
I paid 30 bucks and it came with a clamp meter. People like theses smart ones cause of the flash light and it was created for them hobbyists
Yours came with a clamp? Well that's not a bad deal...!! Yes Flashlights and NCV definitely attract the attention of some people but hopefully that won't be the main reason to purchase a multimeter. Keep on Testing!

Battery is so bad very short time batterys be come poor and dimm in 1 week. I have dont advice this ohmmeter.
