Do me a favour and watch a few interviews with Japanese women on cheating. Most of them admit to cheating on their partners and find the whole subject hilarious, and even if they don't cheat, they say their friends do. So yeah. Japan has very different attitudes towards sex and relationships. You are not going to meet your ideal anime waifu just by setting foot there.

As someone who actually understands Japanese people because I’ve lived here for 9 years, please don’t be delusional…. Japanese people treat everyone like that, especially racial minorities as they just see us as objects of amusement, and while I try to be understanding because they live in a homogenous country while I did not growing up, I still understand that it doesn’t mean anything, A fake friendly demeanor is normal here, it’s also worth noting that Japanese men are amazing in comparison to western men, so women here feel safe behaving in this manner, whereas western men have taught western women via traumatizing them to be hostile.
It's like the equivalent of a guy thinking the waitress is flirting with him because she was polite and friendly. Like you can't have a pleasant interaction with a member of the opposite sex without having it be interpreted as a come-on. The sooner we start seeing men and women as people and potential friends as opposed to a separate species, the better. I am Asian female born and raised in east Asia. I totally agree Japanese girls can be the most professional wives out of culture, they can deal with their marriages as career. But you know what? They don’t work, they don’t contribute to family finance. You need be a completely provider. If you have no problem with your partner having no job and you would still appreciate them as they taking care the family, they are perfect wives. But to what I know, most men want their partners to contribute to the family financially too. You are lucky if you still have a loving wife after she has been working all day just like you did and just finishing cooking dinner. We are not super women. The Japanese wives you described are for the men who have abilities to provide without complains.
Both parties should be appreciative of each other's presence. Period. No one should feel likw they're doing the other person a favour, you're both valuable and you're both only human.
Part of my family is Japanese. I've been to Japan and know it well. Agree 100% that Japanese women are better than American women in terms of simply being feminine women. That said, Japanese women have their own significant issues that likewise often crop up after marriage. Plus, as a white American, you're likely better treated by Japanese women than many other ethnicities and nationalities. In other words, I definitely agree that Japanese women in general are better than hordes of entitled American women, but at the same time there are pitfalls when dating let alone marrying a Japanese woman to be careful about too.

Yes and no. The average girl is slimmer and better looking there, so a girl who is not considered hot there (but will appear that way to us) will be much more humble. Think of it like this - a '7' to us is a '5' in Japan.
Date an 8 or 9 in Japan and it's just like dating a girl in the west. It's the entitlement and sense of self-attractiveness that makes western women think they're better than they are. Date a 4 in the west and they're usually still nice. Hence, that '4' in Japan seems like a 6 to us - maybe a 7 if the personality is good.

Femininity is great on a surface level. But when you dig a little bit deeper you will find a lot of problems that go along with that character profile, such as extreme passivity and entitlement, lack of deep interests, over emotionality, manipulation, selfishness, etc.
In reality, the most attractive women are not overly feminine and have a healthy mix of sterotypically mascline traits like clear and direct communication, passionate interests (in things like politics, sports or video games), accountability, social generosity etc. An overly feminine women feels more like a dependent than a partner.

I’m so tired of manosphere types appropriating adult qualities like the ability to plan, reason, take decisions and follow through as masculine traits and shaming grown women for displaying them and thus being “unfeminine” As if lacking them will equip any woman to deal with life competently. Western women are on average, pretty terrible right now. For one ,2/3 of them are overweight or obese. Two, the court system allows them to destroy men's lives on a whim. Some truth to it. I live in China, which has some cultural similarity. Don't be fooled though, the girls appear this way on the surface but when you know them well, many of them have totally unrealistic requirements and are unbelievably materialistic. I can't speak for Japan as I have not lived there, but I imagine there are similarities. Asian people behave a certain way on the surface/in public/with people they do not know well. When you know them well, it all comes out. They are much more feminine than western women though, no question about that.
Chinese women are much easier to date than western women though. The main problems are controlling tendencies and lack of insight into mental health.
So basically, while being feminine and polite, they are still females deep down? I thought so.
Asian women are ruthlessly ambitious. my father ran an extremely successful business in Australia and he outright told me he almost exclusively hired asian women.

Very much the same as my experience. Plus they are worth the time because they are very accomplished. Most women in Tokyo I worked with spoke three or more languages, were very analytical (no drama), and more humble than anyone in the West.

Women in America are toxic..but there are genuine women..but its a diamond in the rough..I noticed this when I visited japan..everyone was so respectful and noticed you were obviously a tourist and wanted you to have a good impression of their country..as soon as I got back to America, going through the airport, all the workers were pushy and looked upset and the entire energy of the entire place was grim...I might consider moving away..

I'm good friends with a wonderful Japanese woman. She always repays my kindness and more. Also fun to talk with. I could honestly talk to her all day. She can be pretty sassy with me sometimes especially when flirting but it's all in good fun. She's sweet but definitely not a doormat.
I've dated a few Japanese women and they're not all as great like her. Though those women were living in America unlike my friend. So I think you're right about some Japanese women, especially ones living there.

As an American female who has had Japanese female friends, and has a mother who has lived in Japan. I know these women are taught in high school to be promiscuous with men.
