In all my 45 years on this earth, I have never been moved emotionally by a song on a singing competition show like I have while watching this rendition of "Gravity". Tears are in my eyes! That was so so so so so amazing. I pray she is able to release this song in its fullness.
I also want to complement the production team and technician, pyrotechnician, musicians and whoever else helps put these performances together. Everything was right on cue. The foggers, the way the lighting seem to rise, glow and sparkle with her voice. The opening of the doors when the choir came out to take it even higher. The camera cuts were on point. Close when needed. Full view when it was time! Because we couldn't see her face . Its as if her spiritual being toke over this Harp costume. The production crew lighting made her seem just that much more other worldly. Hats off to the people behind the scenes for a job well done at showcasing these young lady's outstanding talent!

What I have truly realized why this STILL makes me cry when I hear this, is exactly what Nicole said...the power of God was flowing through her. She sang with every molecule of her existence because she has dealt with instances in the industry and possibly her life in which her existence seemed irrelevant or invisible. We all just lived through her pain as she remarkably sang to, through, and FOR us as a representative of BEING ENOUGH...when the world says you're not and don't fit the "image". May God continue to pour His blessings upon her and her family.

For years I never bothered to listen to Amber Riley because the industry was always flooded with the newest shiniest R&B Diva. One day a few years back I took the time to actually listen to her sing "Ain't No Way" and thought she could sing. Then I heard her sing "Stone Cold" and her vocals stopped me in my tracks! But this performance blew me completely away! Why this woman doesn't have major exposure and recognition is beyond me. This was AMAZING!!!
That blonde woman at the end mouthing “Oh my God” was literally my reaction as well, especially at that last note. The whole performance was everything. I didn’t think it could get better, then she hit that last note and it was EVERYTHING. I had full body chills! A year later and I’m still coming back to this. Slay Amber, Slay, and as Sheryl Lee Ralph said “Don’t you EVER give up on you.”

What I have truly realized why this STILL makes me cry when I hear this, is exactly what Nicole said...the power of God was flowing through her. She sang with every molecule of her existence because she has dealt with instances in the industry and possibly her life in which her existence seemed irrelevant or invisible. We all just lived through her pain as she remarkably sang to, through, and FOR us as a representative of BEING ENOUGH...when the world says you're not and don't fit the "image". May God continue to pour His blessings upon her and her family.

@@mariofloresgzz2717 I don't think it's the same version. I think they sound similar because they're both influenced by black gospel music. You can tell Yebba and Clark's version has a bit of a pop feel to it as well. I love both versions.

For years I never bothered to listen to Amber Riley because the industry was always flooded with the newest shiniest R&B Diva. One day a few years back I took the time to actually listen to her sing "Ain't No Way" and thought she could sing. Then I heard her sing "Stone Cold" and her vocals stopped me in my tracks! But this performance blew me completely away! Why this woman doesn't have major exposure and recognition is beyond me. This was AMAZING!!!

That blonde woman at the end mouthing “Oh my God” was literally my reaction as well, especially at that last note. The whole performance was everything. I didn’t think it could get better, then she hit that last note and it was EVERYTHING. I had full body chills! A year later and I’m still coming back to this.
