I should be getting the fender flares in the next day or two. Did you trim for the hole in the front of the fender well where the air passes through? I was actually going to see if they would fit in the rear fender wells, before I put them on the front.
Thank you for this video Mac. I just picked up a 2019 ZL1 last weekend. I love the way this looks, do you think these would work and look ok if I also install the ZL1Addons rock guards? Thank you again, be safe and God bless.
@@macpettit2327 thank you Mac! I previously posted that I was discouraged to find out I could not race my 17 2SS convertible so I traded it in for a Crush, color is bonkers. I know you opted for the SS 1LE over the Z. Hope I can start my track adventures in spring time. Love the way your car looks, looks so good! Can't wait for the new content. Thanks!
@@macpettit2327 I just ordered a pair. I would rather not screw into the sheetmetal, are there any alternatives you recommend? Would double sided tape hold this in place? Thank you sir.
@@macpettit2327 I think I'm going to attempt to get that icon bumper for beginning of next year. I ended up having to get a new set of tires so you know $2,000 later. Is there any chance you can show me one your icon bumper that little gap between the fender and the front bumper? I don't know if you had any photos showing a close-up cuz I heard there's a little gap in there?
So these flares are all for form and not function? Not trying to be rude or display any hate, but is there really anything wrong with a little poke aside from aesthetics? Asking for a friend.
It covers the wheel arches, not only are their aero benefits of cleaner air, classes which I race in require tires to be covered by fenders or extensions
I'm curious, what steps were missed? I believe it was pretty straight forward, possibly I should have went into more detail on a certain part? Either way your feedback will help for a future video, let me know
@@macpettit2327 You cut the top curved portion of the fender, right above where you drilled the holes and cut the slits to allow for the flexibility. Also you would need to cut a hole where the air duct is to allow steady airflow to the brakes. (Cut hole to align with OEM duct). Also the tab that needed to be folded over and the other tab that needs to be hacked off to allow clearance. This was a awesome video brother but these aforementioned steps are critical as well. Much love man, big fan of your work by the way🤙🏾🤙🏾
Bro what happened to your car? Did I miss something? Why does it look stock again? 😅😅 (Edit: Already saw your answer on the other coment. You dont have to answer my comment, question is answered. ☺️)
It's quite a change visually, haven't seen it this way in quite some time, and, it's grown on me lol I felt like a lot of people would be shocked by the stock trim
@@macpettit2327 I actually LOVE the stock look of your Camaro!!! If I would own a SS 1le i would only get smoked side markers (as you allready did) , smoked taillights and blacked out chevy logos but then it would look abolutely perfect for me! So i think its really cool, that youre digging the stock look! :) love that
Hi Mac! Glad to see you're back with new content. Great video; thanks for walking us through the install. Those 1LE-R sweatshirts look awesome! 👍
Thanks man! It's been quite a month so it was nice to finally make a video again for sure
Thanks for the video! Nice job as always!
Great video man. Didn't even know these existed.
Dammit you gave away a camaro secret that myself and another camaro owner started back in the day!!
Thank you man I been looking forward to this video!
You think that will fit in the 5 GEN Camaro?
I wonder, since it would give a z28 look 🤔

Did they fit the rear?

Should not be an issue, I’ve heard of a few others that run that combo, and congrats on the Z 🙌

Curious how long self tapping screws should be
Hi Mac, great video. Do these flares cover the brake ducts? Does it make a difference? Please let me know. Thank you.
I'm sure I missed this but what happened to your front bumper? Did you remove it for the stock one?
Quite a lot has been happening in the background behind the camera, but will have a full update on the build soon!

Would these fit the rear fenders by chance? I’ve been looking and can’t seem to find any info.
Hey Mac. What brans and where did you buy the flares? Thanks
will these fit the rear also?
Any clue how to get them from gm?
I love what you did but I wouldn't call almost $ 400 for two pieces of plastic cheap. I wonder if there is a cheaper way to get it done.
I believe the best way would be to find take off’s / used ones on eBay; they pop up every now and again
you could use EZ Flares
Question, do these fit in the rear too for wider rear tires?
The rear fits 325 wide tires without an issue, I have a video detailing how to relocate the rear wiring harness if there is any sign of rubbing

I would be lucky if you sold me that zl1 1le bumper and made a video to boost my Chanel lol 😂🔥🔥🔥
