honestly the z06 front rock guards look so good im suprised they arent stock on the ZLE
Hey Mac, I’ve enjoyed watching the Camaro build since day 1. I think you’re about 5K too low for a realistic base price for a good used SS 1LE though. It’s very rare to find one in the mid 30’s and lower that all or unless it has very high miles on it. If I recall correctly, you were fortunate enough to find yours at a ridiculously cheap price because it was a private sale and the previous owner needed to sell for a house purchase. You got a steal! Exactly this, I am picking a 2018 1LE up for $36,000 with 25K miles on it.. Stock and that's honestly a good deal. It's super clean.
Yeah I just paid 37500 for mine a month ago. 2018 with 3k miles. Got a killer deal.
My altimate car would be a 5th gen z28. Fix the lifter issue with a nice heads cam package from rpm maybe a lil aero and boom, perfect road, race car

Wow! Thanks for all the hard work and sharing your build with prices & links. Really helps those of us with similar interest. Have to ask, when you come up against ZL1 1LE drivers of same skill, what do you think? Still want to make the jump or keep with the SS 1LE.
Down the road possibly, but I have a lot of room to grow as a driver into the SS 1LE, I'd suggest watching a video I made from Global Time Attack, my time ended up being a 1:36, a ZL1 1LE ran a 1:34 on Supercar 3r's , I followed him in every corner he just stretched a bit on the straights
Bang for buck, SSLE is an easy option, just add camber plates and it's ready to rip
* Edit: I know 2 seconds can sound like a quite a gap, but driver to driver, I will get to practice and go to track days a ton more with the SS 1LE, which will only make me faster on the chassis

Great video! Love all the mods, very tasteful and fits the build perfectly. I personally love the wrap, you did a perfect job on it. Regarding the fender guards, are they only for the front? I have the ZL1 add-on rock guards for the front and back. Would it look silly or not fit along with those fender guards? Thanks brother, be safe and God bless you.

Crazy how much car prices have gone up. I have my name on a 22 ss 1le and it's about $57k new. But I want that track warranty!

Mac - like what you’ve done so far - I’m contemplating getting one - I would do everything you’ve done with exception of the additional aero front and rear the camouflage wrap and partial cage - have to ask what is plan to get out of the car if God forbid you have a roll over and we know a helmet will not- fit through window opening - my plan is to have fire extinguisher passenger side and obviously removing helmet if I’m conscious

I LOVE IT!! I’ve got a ZL1 and just took it to Roebling Road this weekend. It was my first time ever on a race track and it was AMAZING. The bug has bit and I’m already trying to go out again and improve my driving.

Except for the stupid jet fighter wing in the back I like everything - I put 325/30/20 on the rear of my ZL1 and it fit with a relocation of the wiring harness on the drivers side
Love your content! Why do I have the nagging feeling that you were just better off getting the ZL1 1LE? That DSSV suspension would be everything you wanted considering you actively track the car. Not to mention the factory ready motor + cooling and all that stuff...

Mac once again what wheels and tires for track duty and did you switch out sway bars for adjustable ones ? I are planning to add a front strut bar
You mentioned front chamber what chamber do you have in the back and did you have to go to adjustable control arms
I recently bought a 2022 vivivd orange SS 1Le manual have tracked it 2 HPDEs and it obviously needs some suspension improvements
Those fenders flares are amazing. Do they block the brake ducts on the inside of the fender?

Did you go to the dealer to tune the car after the GM intake? It should come with a code to get a free tune from GM. Ive been noticing that people say after they tune the car with the new intake that there is no HP gain with the GM intake. I want to get one for my Camaro, just wondering if I should just upgrade the filter to a AEM dry filter rather than do an GM intake.
Did you just buy the wrap or was there a specific company that makes diy wrap kits?
what do u think a good price for a 2016 1ss or 2ss is for decent mileage?
