Can you connect a 40 volt solar panel to this and charge and balance the battery?

Does the input voltage need to be higher than the output voltage? For example, can I use a 12V power supply to charge a 6s battery?

Does it charge LiFePo4 and how does it join with single cells that are not in pre built packs. I do not understand why you have a cell balancing charger joined to a pack that probably has circuits built in???

Did you check out also to charge a battgo lipo? not only as source ... didn't need to connect the balancer cable right? for balanced charging anymore

Hello! Sorry for the late reply. I should have mentioned this in the video. When you connect a battgo battery, even if you don't connect the balance port, it will show you the number of cells. However, by some reason the balance charger still warns you about the balance port not being connected when you attempt to initiate the balancing process. Cheers.

But can you now safely charge without the balance cable?
