Do you have any updates on if it did turn green& if it did what did you do to fix it?
Alyssa G Hi Alyssa, after about 2-3 weeks worth of washing it (I wash my hair about 3-4 times a week) the dye began to fade and the parts where the blonde was did start to show a slight green tinge. However, it was only noticeable in direct sunlight and was fixed by re-dyeing. The box dye is only a semi-permanent option so it was to be expected that I’d have to re-dye pretty soon anyways. Hope this helps! 💖
If your hair turns green you can tone it with a product like Aveda matter root which is a red toning conditioner. Red is opposite green on the color wheel so it cancels it out.
If you are worried about it turning green dye your hair red first to add the pigment back then brown on top it helps the fade and wont go green you get a nice natural colour aswel

Just a heads up to whoever is watching: just make sure you add golden or red pigment to your hair. Either pre-dye it with that or choose a brown color that has red or golden undertones. This way you don't go green :) with box dye I mix two colors. The brown that I want and a reddish brown. You can take a golden brown to mix too if you don't want your ends to look reddish once it washes out a bit.

Was your hair stringy and brittle from the bleach before dying it? Mine is stringy and I'm so over my ombre, I got it redone couple weeks ago and the hair dresser added more highlights which messed up my hair. I've been taking care of it good as far far as deep conditioning mask, oils etc...its way better! I'm so ready for my dark brown black hair! 🙁

It looks really good! If you don't want to run the risk of the blonde turning green, you should repigment it with red-orange before putting the brown on.

My mom has been dying my hair red for 3 years and back in August of 2019 I decided to stop let my mom dye my hair and todaaaayyy is my first time dying my own hair back to my natural color (light brown) thanks a lot for the tutorial, very helpful! My hair is basically the same color blond. You started out with and my roots are just a little bit lighter than your natural color and I am having to have to fill my hair first with a light auburn color in order to get my hair to a medium golden brown but the brown definitely makes your eyes pop I think that's going to happen for me

Use Color Shampoo like Loreal Vibrancy smells Bomb Too ;) I use that One and Herbal essence Color me Happy

But you should have used a filler ( orange or red dye ) before the dark color it won't stay much on blonde I did went from blonde to dark brown and it faded so I used a hair filler and put the dark brown over it too much damage but the color looks great now

I really want to dye my hair like a medium brown again! Right now its more like a dark blonde, and blonde ish color :P I've had brown hair before and 3 and 4 made my hair really dark, and 3 actually made my hair black :O I'm thinking about 5.0 or 6.0 this time. I'm worried the 6.0 will be too light and not the kind of medium brown that I want!! Ahh its soo hard to make a choice :/
