How long will you be staying here? hoping to catch you while you're here. Welcome to the Philippines!
How long you stay here in ph?
I’m just here for a couple weeks guys. I’ll return though, I like it here :)
Driver, full flame proof body suit, Chad, shorts and t-shirt. Health and safety at it's finest 😂
Hahahaha, I was thinking the same thing. Love SE Asia. ❤️
Ah he was only going at 90%, no worries 😏😆
I was surprised he was wearing a helmet and seatbelt. 😮
thanks, not the only one who thinks like me
Chad stay in Thailand too long and absorb their culture, Fun first safety last.
I'm thai and love to see our neighbor's car culture. Nice work Chad. 👍
I remember when I was living here I loved driving in the island of Bohol. The roads there are incredible and have some of the best views I’ve ever seen. So happy to see that you’ve finally made it to my favorite country.🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Bohol is so lush and beautiful!!
I’ve ridden all around Bohol on a Yamaha Sniper 150 Monster Energy Edition I got new from ICM in Tagbilaran.
@@AussiesR6 I would love to ride around Bohol on a sniper or a raider, it seems like a lot of fun 😁
@@keatonlusk3693 most definitely was mate. Also the island of Cebu is pretty cool too.
Lapu-Lapu (Cebu) to Hermits Cove (small beach via a short walk from parking area) on western side of the island was a pretty good ride too.
@@AussiesR6 I actually spent most of my time in Cebu. The drive up north is incredible towards Bogo.
The moment I saw the thumbnail. I knew you're in the Philippines. Thanks for visiting and have fun!!
CB Media in RP 🇵🇭 Welcome to the Philippines Chad 😊🤘🤘🤘
Sir rex pa shout out naman lodi cakes
Having spent alot of time in Thailand and the Philippines, I am amazed on how much they have changed since the early 70's, keep it coming, love the car cultures
It’s been half a century since
Welcome to the Philippines! 🇵🇭
The Manila International Auto Show will be happening at the World Trade Center from April 7 to 10 and there will be a drift event over there at Clark on April 10 by Autocraft Drift
Welcome to the Philippines Chad! Glad you're here in my country, enjoy your trip here! There's a lot of Honda cars here.
I've been following this channel since pandemlc when chad got stock in Thailand for the past more than 2 years and i will never forget when he said that once things gets better around the world He will visit in the Philippines and boy he did, hopefully chad you make a Motorbike Tour series here in the Philippines but please be careful on the road because we have so many stupid public road drivers. Take care Chad and hope you enjoy ur stay. Welcome!
🇵🇭 Welcome to our country Chad! Hope you'll feature diff car scenes of country!
I've been to Angeles and used Clark AIrport but I didn't know there was a racetrack on Clark. You should feature the artwork on some Jeepneeys.
If possible. You might do a motorbike tour on some of the islands. Camiguin Circumferential Road is awesome. Puerta princessa to sabang to El Nido is such a nice ride.
It's alright Chad. We're getting the Corolla GR next year. 4 doors hot hatch. 300 hp. 4wd. It is SICK
edit: Oh you mentionned it 3 mins into the video :p
Hopefully it gets here, but who knows, the current administration may ban any new combustion engine imports and push the electric car extra hard.
Hi mate. I am currently living in Bangkok (met you here actually) but used to live in Manila, Love both countries! The car scene in Thailand is impressive so looking forward to seeing what the Phils have on offer.
My family lived at Clark AFB from '69-'73. Left while in high school. I believe there were about 68,000 Americans and their dependents living there at the time. When Mt. Pinatubo erupted, the US was negotiating for another 99-year lease for Clark and Subic Navy Base. Some of the Philippine Senate was playing hardball and wanted massive amounts of money to renew. Pinatubo changed all that. I was back there 25 years after I left. There were a lot of changes. Our old house on Clark had been destroyed as many had been, but a lot of areas went untouched. I look forward to another trip soon. That Speedway is new but I believe we used to camp there when in Scouts. Can't wait to see all the additional changes. Even Angeles has changed a lot...Walking Street wasn't there but that looks rundown and almost deserted compared to what used to function as red zone.
U yanks paid $200mil rent. Greedy plips wanted 1billion..pinituba
H settled it.
For American foreign policy, leaving the Philippines was a mistake, this allows China's influence to grow in the region started building illegal installations in Spratly Islands. For Philippine "freedom from American shackles" was a a short term win, temporarily until Chinese comes along started taking over Filipino businesses, so an influx of Chinese investment is a mixed blessings, with some strings attached of course.
I work for FoMoCo up here in Canada, i belong to the Ontario Mustang Club, and i love seeing that beautiful 5.0 all over the world. I love your appreciation of the car no matter who built her. Although im a bit jaded, i still appreciate good workmanship no matter the brand, its a labour of love. Keep up the amazing work, great job and keep them ponies rollin. Thankyou.
So glad you came here to see the car culture! Welcome to the Philippines bro!
Chad, that warm afterglow you are feeling is just a side effect of being one of just a few American enthusiasts who have had a ride in the Yaris GR!
You must be feeling amazing now that you have some freedom of movement and are able to fulfill your channel's vision! I'm really happy for you, and us!
As an American, I love the Philippines and Filipinos. I want to visit soon. The fact that they're friendly to English speakers is great too. I can't wait to see more of your videos there, Chad.
Amazing content as always! Hope to see some off-roading stuff soon, or at some point when you get back to Thailand. Love how you hit a full spectrum of all kinds of Motorsports on your channel, along with some local culture from the areas you explore. A friggin plus brother
im a pinoy and love your video, and the people in the philippines also love motorsport, so cb media welcome to pinas and mabuhay sayo dude 👌👌👌
Thank you Chad, great content as always!
You always have have a contact at all these awesome events and you get us up close to the action Thankyou Chad
Chad you rock! Love the channel and content! I'm here for the algorithm! Peace
Love the passion you have for motor sports.
Awesome video Chad! I just finished buying tickets for my trip to Philippines 🇵🇭 in December. I’ve never been up north though, I always spend my time in Cebu and Bohol.
Chad, welcome to Angeles City, Philippines! Your narrative at the beginning of this video is correct, and being a Mt. Pinatubo Survivor myself I can assure you that was quite the epic disaster you would never want to experience, and one I don’t ever want to re-experience! I was stationed at Subic Bay Naval Station 88-91 and visited my Air Force friends at Clark often. Olongapo and Subic Bay was buried in 3-5 feet of ash, but Clark and Angeles was up to 20 feet! It was amazing to me to see how Subic Bay recovered after Black Saturday 15JUN1991, but as you said, Clark AFB was beyond repair and abandoned! Subic Bay also closed a few months later because the Philippine Senate would not resign on the base treaty. That raceway at Angeles City looks like it would have been pretty cool back in the day when Walking Street (aka Fields Ave) was going crazy, nothing like it seems to be today. Keep up the outstanding work on your videos and continue living life to the fullest! For that, I salute you! CTO1(SW/AW), USN, Retired.
When I was researching this I saw the pictures and it looked insane. So crazy. Thanks for your support and more importantly your service brother.
@@CBMedia404 Thank you, Chad, your reply means a lot to me. I’ll never forget the Black Saturday, it was like we had been nuked without radiation and survived!
Clark AFB, the buildings and tower were damaged, but the 4.5 miles of dual runway was not damaged, just had to sweep the ash off. I have flown in and out of Clark many times, much less hassle than Manila Airport.
So glad you had visit the Philippines, especially angeles city, my home town, have fun be safe
Man, never thought Chad would know anyone in the PH, much less knowing someone from Autoplus!
This is where I'll be and what I'll be doing when I retire! I was gonna suggest this but never did for some reason. Thanks for the video
Great Patreon content...spot on...good on yah bro!
that Yaris was amazing great content as always bro and that track was insane
Well... welcome to the Philippines. My home country. And im happy that you've follow on your plans. Keep it goin!
Subscribed! Clark International Speedway is absolutely the best place to show what the car culture is like in the Philippines.
I was stationed at Subic Bay Upper MAU outside of Olongapo City. The nightlife and clubs was a lot more fun when the US Military was there. a lot of great memories and friendships made while I lived there.
Looking forward to your opinion on the Philippines. Thanks for your work.
Wow finally in my country thanks Chad❤️❤️

Chad - first time watching with headphones on - WOW! the audio is as amazing as the videography! You must have a killer microphone set up as the sounds rotated around the viewer as the camera did. Just wanted to say great job and thanks for making the content!

A real race driver fabulous. Great ride. I was station in Olongapo for two years go check it out, if you have the time. Thanks for the video and your time. Back in the PI. WOW
Bro top quality vid dude
There is another race track here in PH aside from that one in Clark, there is the Batangas Racing Circuit, Carmona Race Track, Tarlac Circuit Hill, and 1 in Palawan province.
Fun fact Auto Plus also had a US location in the San Francisco Bay Area, Daly City to be exact. I don't live there anymore and not sure if they're still open but back in the days everybody use to go there.
P. Burgos street in Manila and Sabang beach in Peurto Galera is some fun places to visit too. There is a 60's diner also in Burgos street called the Filling Station, the food and atmosphere there is awesome!
small world
was a 9/10 year old Air Force brat in 67'68 at Clark.
lived in Angeles City before my dad got base housing.
Col Chuck Yeagar was his wing commander.
The Jeepney's were something else.

Sir I am very proud you made it to the Philippines. I recommended that awhile ago and you did it ! You are also very close to where my wife worked when she was still in the Phil.
It's okay to address a fellow man like , " Hey Kuya " can you help me find ...ect... You also should make a trip to Manila and visit " Mall of Asia " , Ocean Park Manila.. It's endless things to do once you have been there awhile. Excited to see more uploads! Don't be shy to jump on a Jeepney , take a trike to help you get places. It's the Pinoy way 😂💖
