@angelictigerette yes those are what I use when I'm not using dates. As long as it's not processed sugar cane it's so much healthier. And you get vitamins with maple that are great for you. I believe there is also iron in it.

Will try the chocolate PB swirl for sure. I add a splash or two of blueberry balsamic vinegar to my blueberry nice cream, which helps mask the banana flavour (my hubby doesn't like bananas). I serve nice cream right away because it tastes like a smooth soft serve like that. Finally, my grandchildren enjoy plain nice cream drizzled with fruity balsamic vinegar (chocolate cherry, cinnamon pear, etc). Yum, yum!

I’ve been looking for some thing that I can make for my horses I live in Arizona and it is so hot and my Horse is so spoiled. And I don’t like giving him dairy and I just bought a snowcone machine for him, but I think I’m gonna do this instead. Just really have started substituting non-dairy for dairy this summer…making a lot of “nice creams” using coconut milk and fruit…delish! So glad I found your channel:))
When I use essential oil to flavor something like ice cream, I use one drop or less. To get less, use something like a toothpick or a well-washed skewer tip to add a tip worth of essential oil to the batter.
I have just blending frozen fruit and oat milk recently. It only works well in a vitamix or strong blender. It becomes like a creamy sorbet. Which really helps with the heat.
I have been experiencing elevated blood pressure for a few years too many. I believe stress from trauma, not getting enough sleep, or drinking enough water, toxic relatives, eating too much salty and sweet foods, and not exercising enough are the primary reasons why. I eliminated the toxic relatives and people in my life, began eating more fruits, vegetables and natural foods than ever, I’m better at getting more sleep and drinking more water and I have been working out with a trainer consistently the past year. After making all of these changes I still find that my blood pressure has been elevated. As a result, I want to learn as many healthy and delicious vegan recipes as possible without actually becoming a full fledged vegan so I can enjoy great food, without unhealthy additives that will harm my body and health. I am elated that I discovered your channel on CZcams and your cookbook!

Ive eaten frozen banana and berries every day for years. Delicious! And i dont miss out on dessert due to dairy intolerance. My mother doesnt understand food intolerances so believes Im restricting my diet without cause... (shes intolerant of things she doesnt want to understand). However, Im plenty happy with my frozen fruit dessert everyday with no awful body reactions.

Hello friend, you might be able to try using coconut cream instead of bananas? If you put a can of coconut milk in the fridge over night then the cream will separate to the top. Use the thick cream from the can on top and discard the liquid. Blend the cream with the other nice cream ingredients instead of the banana. Hopefully that works. 😊

If you soak dates in warm water they work like they're fresh off the tree. They are so healthy too.

Ive eaten frozen banana and berries every day for years. Delicious! And i dont miss out on dessert due to dairy intolerance. My mother doesnt understand food intolerances so believes Im restricting my diet without cause... (shes intolerant of things she doesnt want to understand). However, Im plenty happy with my frozen fruit dessert everyday with no awful body reactions.

Your video just popped up out of nowhere on my CZcams page and i an glad it did. I have bedn on my plant based journey for some years. In the last year or so i have become more mindful of how much sugar i consume . I love me some vegan ice cream but sadly that can be loaded with a lot of sugar as well. Hello friend, you might be able to try using coconut cream instead of bananas? If you put a can of coconut milk in the fridge over night then the cream will separate to the top. Use the thick cream from the can on top and discard the liquid. Blend the cream with the other nice cream ingredients instead of the banana. Hopefully that works. 😊

I used to mix frozen fruit and plain yogurt to make my breakfast smoothies but never thought of this idea for a frozen dessert. Will definitely check out your cookbook.
