  • 4 keys to have a more powerful snap shot that you can implement today!
I breakdown how to take a snap shot and then show you 4 mistakes I see players make with their snap shots so you can avoid them. At the end, I also provide a few drills and exercises you can use to develop a harder snap shot.
I've never had the best snap shot, but more recently I've used the tips discussed in this video to really improve my shot and I'm hoping I can help you add at least a few M.P.H. to your shot too!

This is an excellent video! I'm definitely guilty of focusing mostly on my bottom hand and making sure I'm getting maximum flex on the stick rather than what my top hand is doing. Also you're right at the end of the video, your programs are great! The Mens League Domination program is excellent, I put on quite a few pounds of muscle by sticking to it over covid, honestly it made a big difference. Cheers!

this is one of the best technique tips i've ever seen. been playing for 30 years and have a good shot, but the top hand tip is next level. you can actually ease up a bit on bottom hand power and think about accuracy and still get major heat but with greater accuracy. brilliant.

You don't click-bait and so educational as well. Thanks for your effort and content man - underrated hockey channel for those wanting to learn! Maybe a recommendation for your next video (more for the kids) is how to get their slapshot harder, and how to raise that puck when taking that slapshot...very low chance to actually work in a game format but, who doesn't dream about a clapper top shelf goal?!!

I really don't get the whole "pushing the puck forward" before you shoot deal. Why exactly is that necessary? When I shoot the puck never leaves my blade and I have no issues putting the hands in front of my body. Just trying to understand because I don't really understand what exactly that is supposed to do mechanically.
