Watching this from New Zealand. My parents born in halifax. This was great!!
The family patch
My granny used to point out where buildings used to be, not what imagined.
This video gives me a time travel in
Mind when I walk to town
Great video I watch regularly
Really appreciate the effort and time you must have spent putting this together, the music is also great and fitted the montage just right, I’m from all these area’s still 72 years on, I remember some and are intrigued by the ones I didn’t know, fantastic..
It seems new or recent photographs can Iron out how steep hills really are !..very enjoyable video to watch and well made..thank you.
VERY enjoyable. I must have walked past Grindlestone Bank farm scores of times and I hadn't realised it was a back-to-back!! (Loved little Darcy btw!!)
Glad you enjoyed the film, and that you liked my Darcy - he was a 'short body' chinchilla (bit like dwarfism)
Thanks so much for this particularly Lee mount and ovenden areas been looking for pictures for years
Great video nice to see old parts of Ovenden and Wheatley where i grew up. Some of the places looks grim in the black and white photos, and some of them look better than today no rubbish strewn about on the street!
This was amazing, thank you so so much. I have just travelled back in time and memories came rushing in.
Stunning, I live just above the church on last slide, 2021. Again the effort is really appreciated.
My GF's Aunt lives in the house next door that used to be the Co - Op in Mixy!
Can you show us some railway history videos of Halifax like there’s an old viaduct on Boy Ln Hx3 5ae that the it was used in the railway from Halifax to Illingworth. I enjoyed this video so much 👍
Some places were so beautiful and today aren't any more.
I thought that only in my country destroyed beautiful buildings, but now also in England they destroy what was so beautiful
