Hi, my naem is Ling. I donno how to say how greatful me is.... I mean,
I can’t express how grateful I am to be in this short! ♡ The entire (very young yet dedicated) JinnyboyTV production team was so fun and comfortable to work with, not forgetting my multitalented co-actor Nick Davis. And Awwhh, it’s so heartwarming reading all the comments - Thank you! Thank you! (though I’m only a small part of this ‘masterpiece’ some of you called it)

I'm an indian, this short movie is an extreme level of acting of both the main characters. I enjoyed and the last 5 min i couldn't say how that make me cry heart touching. ❤

Came back here again after months when i first saw the short film when it was released. Trust me its probably one of the best ever short storyline i have ever seen. You should probably make a sequel if you can. We’ll 100% love it and support you guys. The story feels so real I can’t even express how good it is💜

At first time I saw, I was attracted by the thumbnail and the name, so I clicked to watch it and now I have felt in love with the story and the message inside it ❤ It made me cry a lot. I'm watching it again after a year and it still feels so beautiful. Feels like I somewhere got connected with this video and rewatching it is bringing me closer to my past self who was struggling too but never lost hope.
A really beautiful film. From each gorgeous cinematic shot to how the actors really brought out the emotions. I love how subtly the theme was being built with a very simplistic kind of mystery wrapped up in the foreboding. The video recording of the teacher at the end really brought together the touching story. Makes me want to be there and enjoy the places Ling is showing around.

yeah. That's easy for you to say retrospectively. He came for a specific purpose and was pressed for time. She offered to take him to the place, but brought them on a wild goose chase, without telling him why she did that. Anyone in those circumstances would be pissed.

I was in Kota Damansara for 3 years, I spoke perfect Malaysian English then, even locals couldn't recognize I wasn't Malaysian. The day I left Malaysia, the accent left me, but every time I heard somebody spoke Malaysian English, my accent came back immediately. How weird.

Jacky Phantom its the character’s personality , i didnt mention anything about the slang or accent. anyways its just my 2cents abt this short film and storyboard.
I’m kind of agreed with the logic of some scenes and storyline are a bit off compared in reality. Yet if the female lead is not that enthu, no way this short film was able to be produced. And it’s quite uncommon for the character being able to comprehend what the banana telling her in whole lots of conversations, yet it’s a fake story, so I assume she’s very talented in English language, somewhat gifted😂😂Same applied to the fake banana
- She's so enthusiastic because she already knows him from the mother. She is eager to bring him to all the places the mother wanted him to see.
- There are many Malaysians who understand a certain language but can't speak it well. If you notice their conversations, they don't fully understand the whole thing of what the other person says but tend to pick up key words which they understand.
This one broke me to the core. I love it. Maybe its because I'm watching it while I'm taking my examination far from home. And its been a long time since I last went home due to transportation issues. What a beautiful piece! Cheers to the team for such a curation!

If we consider life only as a way from one point to another, there wouldn't be those beautiful moments when we are relaxed and just spending time together.
