I always loved it whenever the captain would say 'to all Malaysians, welcome home' on the flight. It always made me feel good to come back home from a foreign country upon hearing those words. 💕
but when U student coming back from holiday, first thought is "have I done my homework?"
hey su lyn. Remember me?
Yeah and Malaysia Airlines is not what it used to be since MH17 and MH370.
same omg i appreciate that a lot
Enkryptron bro it's. air Asia
To all the Malaysians welcome home, as a student abroad coming home during holiday, this always hit me.

ikr😢
Hi Chee Han. Me too.
and now im back in egypt. for another 3 years.
Lmao Hi Shawn and Chee Han hahaha
Watching this from another country gives the ultimate goosebumps. You'll never realise the value of anything until it is taken away. Yeah la we have racial and religious issues. Yeah la our politics is shit. But at end, we are all Malaysians! No matter how much we hate certain things about Malaysia, at the end, it is our home...Our only home...
agreed
although i am malay but i hate najib
Awesome guy's channel well said bro
Although i'm not malaysia ... i agree with you to love our homeland country no matter what happen ... ^_^

Thought he will start to work there lol
I don't know why! My tears just rolled down right after the captain said "And to all Malaysian, Welcome Home" BTW I'm in New Zealand and I am missing Home so so so badly. Great Video!! Great works @jinnyboytv
thanks for watching john
Me too
same😂😭
I am a Malaysian in Germany , Hannover 😁
I have been living in Melbourne for 5 years now and it has only recently strikes me that I should perhaps go home and be close with my family in Malaysia. It's so hard to leave what I have over here but I really miss my family. My parents told me the exact same thing as the parents did in the video "go find a job there" "live there, don't come back to Malaysia", etc. In fact, the entire video could be my story too. It's something hard to explain/articulate but this video does it so well. It's inspiring. Thanks for making it Jinnyboy :)
:) hope you'll share it with your friends who are there with you as well
+Erik Jacob guess you should say inspiration instead of stealing
+Erik Jacob ey yo chill fam 😂😂
Which part of Melbourne bro? Come go kena some nasi lemak at Petaling street.
I live in Melbourne too, haha, so shit about Corona these days, missing Malaysia
4 years on, and this video still rings very true today, In this age of uncertainty, with COVID wreaking havoc on everyone's plans to travel back to our dearest home, Malaysia, and families being apart for more than 5 months and counting, with no end in sight, watching this video again gives a whole new level of sadness. In addition, with so much of bickering and "frog-jumping" from the politicians "who are doing this for the Rakyat" (so to speak), I wish that we have many of such simple Nasi Lemak stall, who has done a whole lot more in uniting us as a nation than the politicians who seems hell bent on dividing us.
Just to end on a positive note, I wish and pray that this whole situation would end, and families will be reunited once more, and for all races to bond over our favourite food of all, Nasi Lemak!
Touching story. I bet this happens to lots of Malaysian. Choosing between dreams and family.
It happens to a lot fo people. I had to chose my parents over my dreams.. my siblings got their dreams but our folks are old and I'm the youngest. I'm not Malaysian. I'm mainly Lao, Thai and European.
@@Baybieangel209 nice, after two years then reply haha
This happened to me today .I've to choose my life in Canada or my family back in Malaysia.
It's a sad choice friend, sad choice. Too many talented young Malaysians leave their homeland becuz they have no opportunities to put their talents to use in Malaysia.
Dekat mana pun kita berada Malaysia juga kita akan pulang. :D

Rezza dude
Singaporean here don't mind me
Although Adam`s family making little money, they focus more on sincerity and connecting people. These touch my heart. It`s a good short film with multi-racial format in one video. Good job!
thanks so much for watching!
When you watch this video while living overseas, and the Captain says. 'Malaysians, Welcome Home' Wah. tears flowing. I miss Home.
If anyone is reading this hope you have a good day 😇
You really love to make us cry.
@JaydenGoh30 but it's true tho. I bet a lot of ppl cried
I always like when Captain said:"To all Malaysian, Welcome Home!" It really feeling touch and great that I'm home. And yes, I do miss my home!
Although I'm from Singapore and still going through Primary 6 but I don't know why but this video makes me so resentful that my tears can't stop flowing. We all love our families and your different cultured friends. So if you are reading this, respect every other race, regardless of skin color, voice, gender and religion.
And have a great day. ;,)
By the way, Jinnyboy, this video is slightly aspiring me to be a filmmaker. It's great. Thank you.
why slightly ? lol

Whats ur psle score
are u in sec 2 now? or 3?
"To all Malaysians, welcome home" is always my favourite quote!
the only son in the family and has family business would understand how this feel. i can relate to this. thanks reuben and jin for reminding us how important family is. without them who are we right? as always, please continue to inspire our younger generation!
Every time when I came back from Cambridge and heard the pilot said 'To All Malysian,Welcome Home' it's like an arrow to our heart it's felt like u are really at home that u don't wan to let go even though I had a dream I can't let anything happen to my parent because without them I am nothing so this story really inspired me I hoped u fell the same way to
Really nice job @jinnyboy
I will never look at nasi lemak the same way anymore.
BEAUTIFUL!! Great work team!
+pwangs thank you so much Phil!! :D
Been in Australia for 40yrs and still Malaysian at heart.Loved this movie and Jinnyboy productions.Well done.
No matter how far we go...........we are still that kid who pak cik and mak cik make us nasi lemak. Im so proud that I’m Malaysian.
I don't cry but my tears are inside my heart, at the bottom of it. I love MY home since I was born. MALAYSIA is MY home. Thanks for such thought-provoking and heart-touching video and keep making influential videos for all !
thanks so much for watching!
This is so touching. Especially today is national day
I am a 65yrs old grandma who misses her home country Malaysia.l live in Australia and have been away for 41yrs and enjoy watching your shows because of those memories. The beautiful scenery, food plus the language are all delicious to me so thank you .
This is truly what it means to be Malaysian.... RESPECT to all those Malaysian who love Malaysia. 1 for all and all for 1....
From: Malaysia
I really miss this kind of video from jinnyboytv though
This really hits me.. I am kind of going through the same thing. My parents told me to find a job in the UK instead of going home (knowing that opportunities will not be as good). Sometimes when I get homesick I question myself, wondering if I have made a wrong decision :(
You are not alone! I am facing the similar situation now and yes, when I get homesick, I do feel that way too :)
Same man
Rewatching this in 2020 and damn, it still makes my eyes tear. Definitely one of my favorites, a short film that is able to touch the souls of many Malaysians. Well done man!
Just stumble upon this short clip and realise how much we've taken home for granted. This resonate to me a lot as an only child and being away from home for 10years, the thought of "is time to go home" still haunt me thinking can I leave everything and start all over?
One thing for sure, 2020 - this year with such pandemic and close borders - #imisshome #rememberyourroot
Superb guys. Loving the sincerity in the story telling & delivering of the lines. Truly a Malaysian short. Well done!
the solution : bring the family business to Melbourne lol
genius....
genius....
it's not that simple dude.
+Jacky Tan it may be more complicated but if its a food business it should be fine.
nah, Malaysian food in Melbourne is not the same as the food in Malaysia
This summed up for a lot of people in the world.
Who gave up their dreams Just because of their family.
This video has a lot of lessons that need to be taught in life.
you can't have everything. No matter how badly you want something.
Family is the number one priority and You must always sacrifice something in this world.
I was introduced to this channel by my ex when we first started dating. And I loved how he recommended me the videos. Somehow along the way we stopped sharing these videos. Today I opened my CZcams and randomly typed this channel’s name and this is the first video that popped up … and I feel so good watching. It’s like reliving my happy past.
I actually cried watching this. Jinnyboytv great job! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
:( Is it okay if I cry?
walao siao liao

Malaysian living in Melbourne, Australia going back on the 20th December. This video is just beautiful, JinnyboyTV!!! Really makes me homesick!
I am touched when the captain says "Bagi anak Malaysia, Selamat Balik ke tanah air" every time I back to Malaysia.
HOME is the way we're heading to in the last
#Malaysian #NasiLemak #Diversity
My country, My home
may not good enough, but sure not bad at all
how can u write script this good?, please make more like this, so amazed!
Congrats on your marriage, Jin. May you be happy always and stedfast in your future undertakings.
I don't know why, but now that I rewatched this video again, it really teach me a personal lesson. Living abroad can be a wonderful life for yourself, but deep down your family is still precious in your life. :)
Omg at 5:12 the guy said "Dai Machan". That's Tamil!!!!!! Shout out to my Tamilians.
"But you don't have problems leaving us behind?"
Burns.
I've been living at Melbourne for almost a year now, and there has not been a single day where I do not think of home and not miss my family. 🇲🇾🇲🇾
I 50% agree with your video about continuing family bussines. My reason is if you study and work in other country for so long, sometimes your way of thinking changes and different from the rest of your fellow countymen. You may not enjoy working with them because their work ethique is different. But if you can compromise and tolerate certain things, I believe working in your own country is nicer.
On the other hand, I totally agree about being friendly with your fellow countrymen regardless of their race, skin color, or religion. The difference is always there, instead of fighting, we should united as one nation.
leaving to the uk to pursue my studies and dreams next week, let's just say that this video was really and eye opener for me, towards my future. good job guys!
Three years ago it's the same for me ahah
Although i'm not malaysian but this is such a really beautiful and powerful video! It draws tears to my eyes :) Good job jinnyboys.
where u from my nigga?
New Zealand
New Zealand is the most beautiful country in the world! You my nigga is one lucky person! My dream is to visit NZ one day! 😊👍
lol It is a holiday place for sure.
OMG!! This is just like me right now. I'm currently in this situation . I'm living in Australia and my parents are in Malaysia . Now after I've watched this , it has defiantly brought me to my decision of going back home (Malaysia) and help me parents live a better life. After maybe when I get a little more older I can finally come back again to Australia for my further in studies. I will have a attend Tenby located next to Setia Eco Park. Thank you so much JinnyboyTV for helping me make my decision.
Lived in melbourne for four years, had to return back to malaysia. Thanks for bringing back the feels.
Harambe would have loved this video.....if he was here and no one to continue his Legacy.....

kyopropaganda hhhaahhahaha thuglife
Its about 3 years , its still... Making me cried
i won't usually comment on your video but this video has a similarity in my life, family telling me to leave the country to get a better education and life, not knowing my family has struggled so much upon the way just for me to have a better life despite the fact that i;d have to leave them here, home is where your loved ones are. Its truly enlightening to know that Malaysians can be innovative and pioneering.
this is a masterpiece! ❤️
Vikarworld!!!!!
With the experience of studying abroad, and just back recently, I have to say, as a chinese, the food I most was looking forward to was NASI LEMAK!
yeah its somehow odd for those havent experience this(Studying abroad for a lengthy time) but I'm sure many Malaysians (Malay, Indian or chinese) will agree with me... we somehow miss nasi lemak more than our own race's dishes first...
I guess that's the true beauty of Malaysians, we love and are proud with our food! and of course also when we look each other as Malaysians instead of different races like how its been very well portrayed in this video. Selamat Merdeka my fellow MALAYSIANS!
it just touched heart. the story line is so brilliant. the ending is special.
hats up gays for genius work.
it's the same for all the people of every country. as well in NEPAL.
I was so emotional until Jared came in became a Beggar. Hahahahaha great video 😭
who put onions here!?
Jin, your channel deserves waaaaay more recognition for the quality of the videos that you put out. Bravo for this, and thanks for all of your inspiration that you give each and every one of your viewers.
Like wanna cry when the captain said "To all Malaysians, welcome home". nice movie *thumbs up

I cried.. I relate to this video so much! studying in Melbourne to the point of not returning home.. but now I have second thoughts
Job well done!!! As a Malaysian expat now living in Dubai, this video touched every each corner of my heart😢
wow I'm currently in tears right now, watching this far from home, studying and now working away from home. I did promised my mom to come back soon. But i don't know how long is that 'soon'.
As a Malaysian currently in the US, happy Merdeka.

i hope you still continue making more inspiring videos. God bless you guys!
As one of the 2 million malaysians who had to move when the county was going to face economic termoil we need to stay strong we cant let the new goverment push us out we need to reunite and make malaysia the democratic country our four founding fathers wanted it to be. I made a pledge to my self to save enough money to restart my life as a third generation malaysian who migrated to New Zealand. I want malaysia to be liveable like it was 6 or so years ago.
1Malaysia malaysians be proud of who you are keep you chin up dont be afraid of where you were born and where you came from
:*)
+David Choi
hi davidd, you guys should collabb, with ur music, jinnyboys cinematography and both your storytelling, it would be amazing
that cantonese made me feel like im at home
I have been away for 30+ years. Now this makes me wanna be back home 🇲🇾😢
I can't explain how much I am grateful to have your channel
I'm in Sydney and I miss Malaysia so freaking much. This just made me cry omg.
You need more likes
I get it, but Adam basically just threw away his (assumed valuable) German degree! Not just all that scholarship money he earned that the government or some company paid for, all his hard work, the effort gone to move all the way across the world into an unfamiliar town and culture, just went down the drain to sell nasi lemak. It's great if he's happy, but if he were a different person, someone who is shy or unsociable unlike his dad, that's a horrible life to choose. I'm just saying this video misses the fact that you should also take yourself and your wellbeing into account when making big life decisions.
Sue Anne Totally agree! I guess there's nothing more they could have done to show the full picture. They'd need a whole series or movie for that.
They made sacrifices and we return in kind. That's the way how things work. Yes. We have dreams, but we are also people of circumstances. They said we have choices. Yes, we do, but the thing is, not all people can realize their dreams because they sacrifice for what's they valued most. From there, the next generation learns and they practice the same and it goes on and on and on...
+Mikeshouts Well if whoever is concerned is okay with throwing away all their hardwork put into trying to achieve their dream, I'm in no position to judge. Similarly, if it's the opposite and the person in question isn't going to do all that just to go home and sell nasi lemak to preserve the family legacy, they shouldn't be judged, ridiculed or punished for it. I know for a fact that if my parents told me to go home to run the family business, I'd have to decline. Personally, I can't do what my parents do, I wouldn't live up to their expectations, there's a good chance I'll just drive the business to the ground anyway. I am not my parents, so much so that I sometimes wonder if I'm adopted. Furthermore, I've worked long and hard to make a mark in the world on my own. I'm not saying everyone should leave their parents behind and completely drop everything they ask of you. They have of course done everything in their power to make us who we are and we should show our gratitude however possible. I just disagree with the idea that you should drop everything you've ever hoped to achieve just to please your parents, and that you should expect that of your kids. Our generation and the generations that will come are people too, with dreams and aspirations and plans. To expect us to ignore that is to take away a big part of what makes us human.
the thing is, if we pursued our dreams, we get carried away sometimes and cant spend time with our parents. when they are gone, it will make us think about our decisions in the past.but hey, who am i to judge. it is just my opinion. thanks.

Amazing video. Definitely touched my heart. Have migrated to Canada for over 20 years now. Wife from Malaysia and have 2 kids... bring them back home (to M'sia) regularly for this reason. No matter what, Malaysia is home... family is home. Thanks Jinnyboy for continuing to remind all of us this.
a short 14min video but with so much meaning and one purpose is most important .... family!

When i turn 22 my grandfather will give me the rubber company
Kalian semua terbaik.
Love this video. I am away from kampung for more than 7 years too . Thanks JinnyboyTv .
if the myth true that jinny boy tv will reply to you if you're early
:)
+JinnyboyTV hi
+JinnyboyTV woo hoo, you guys sure know how to make someone's day
damn thats my line
hahaha nice aussie accent
I am a Malaysian n had been living in Adelaide for 12 years after graduating from uni. This video has inspired me n remind me what is HOME means. Thanks
I am 4th generation Chinese Malaysian. Do not get sentimental, where the next generation can get a better life, that is where they will be. As long as we know how to cook nasi lemak, we can still have the best nasi lemak anywhere... even the coldest part of the world. Important we carry on bringing the friendly and caring heart of the Malaysian who grew up in the 70s.
Once gone forward, never look back. Am glad my ancestors never look bak when they came to Malaysia. As my family look to better shores, i pray that they too will not look back.
And do you know why six is afraid of seven?
Because seven ate nine
It's not funny
seriously...66 dislikes......dont u guys love your home...???
Can't help myself from crying while watching this scene. What the story tell is that no matter how famous we are on the other land we should look back where we started. And family is the most important even though we're success. We should cherish every moments while they still living and supporting us. Continue to do more like this short films.
Going back home in a few weeks and this just made me miss home even more. Great video!
No matter where you go, or what you do, Malaysia will always be HOME.
This...we need this kind of quality in our film/tv industry...terbaek...
im glad that this kind of video brings all of us together.. i mean us is we as a malaysian. how many of us really sit down in a table have 3 different races anyway? those were generation before us.
I felt the impact of the last sentence, "To all Malaysians, Welcome home."
I just run into ur video today jin, and guess what? I never been more inspired by Malaysian youtuber but you! So proud to be Malaysian! Keep on making great content like this Jin! #proud #malaysian
Favourite part of the video, starting from 8:58 when he talked about his dad. It's so heart-warming to see how food can unite us Malaysians. Thank you for such a beautiful piece, JinnyboyTV. Continue to inspire and speak the minds of us Malaysians.
Happy 59th Birthday, Malaysia.
Tears in my eyes... again from a jinnyboy video
