The color looks rly good but btw Hicolor box dye has bleach mixed in it. It also explains why your roots are slightly lighter, but honestly the color looks good either way

Actually it doesn’t contain bleach, but rather ammonia to lift (alkalize) the hair

Did you reapply hair colour after that? What did your hair fade to?

I never let my hair fade lol
My roots would grow in as my natural hair color and it would get lighter but I would retouch about every 4-6 weeks

No I didn’t. I had Virgin hair 🤭
I had never done anything to my hair previously to this. The brown in my hair was my natural hair color.

SO ITS OKAY TO USE 20volumes. Developer. My Neice hair is black. And wants that color

If you want it to actually be red or magenta I would use 30. If you just want a hint, then use 20
