hiii everyone!! in this video i’ll be dying my hair copper. At first it was a fail but I ended up loving this color on my more than I thought I would! I loveeeee
How to not have your root not lighter than other parts of your hair: Section your hair in 4 parts, start from the back of your head, apply the color 1 inch away from your scalp, do this until you’re done applying the back of your head, now move on to the front make sure you are still applying an inch away from the scalp, do this until you’re done with the front. Now, you want to go back to the back of your head apply the rest of the color to the root, once you’re done with the back of your root, start with the front of your root until you’re done. The reason why your root comes out lighter is because it’s the closest part to your scalp so the color will process faster. The reason why you would want to start coloring from the back to the front is because the back of your head have less sun exposure therefore it’s less damaging and the color will need more time to process vs the front of your head. When you’re about to wash your hair out before letting your hair touch water use shampoo to remove any stain on your forehead or around your ears. Make sure you rub the shampoo in the area that’s stained and then you can start washing your hair. If you let water touches the area that’s stained it will be harder for you to remove the color since water allows color to settle into your skin. Good luck.
@@themdesire I dyed my hair with a darker color to hide the hot roots. It's a deep burgundy shade and looks really good. Btw, I was going for red when I messed up haha
If you want a color closer to the light strips at the front of your face, try the same product in the shade ‘sizzling copper’! I been dying my hair that color every Fall for the past three years now and I love it! The sample hair at Sally’s looks WAAAY too light, but hair our natural color is never gonna get that light without real bleach, so don’t worry. It’ll turn out like this, but more copper, not red. This still looks so cute on you though ❤
Thank goodness you made this video😻. I have been wanting to dye my hair copper and just subscribed to your channel. I am planning on doing it for my channel as well. I just purchased the red copper due to I have a darker complexion which works with a warm skin tone.
U don’t need to stab the containers, you’re meant to take off the cap, the cap has a lil dent on the other side youre meant to screw it on till it pops
What size bottle did you use for the 30 developer and how much of it do you use?? And should I use 2 or three bottles of the color ? Lol my color is like a faded dark brown similar to yours
:) thank youu!! , when i first dyed it , it was more of a red. after a few washes the color toned down to a more subtle copper, i retouched my roots twice since
You'll be dying your hair like that from now until eternity , the color have to be lifted off of your hair the dark color that is and you can only do that by bleaching it then start the process of coloring your hair.
It would be okay! but keep in mind the color prob won’t show so bright, it’ll be very subtle. maybe a 20 or 30 would be better for you depending on what you’re going for

I dyed my hair today and did the exact same thing that you said in this comment and still ended up with hot roots? What do I do now.. :(
Plus I read some comments and they said you just gotta touch up your roots in the final 10 mins before rinsing.. Would that have helped?
@@duaa9322what did you end up doing to fix it 🥲
Um, yes. That is what she said to do...

Looks gorgeous on you! I just colored my hair Copper using a semi-permanent color. I was too afraid to commit, but the color suits you so well.
thank you so much! let’s see how the maintenance for it goes 😁🙃
I love how your hair came out ! I want my hair this color
She used the 8 ounce Color brilliance sensitive crème 30 developer and Two L’Oréal hilight copper 1.2 ounce Color
It wasn’t both copper because when she showed the bowl there were two different dyes, one was orange one was red
I thought she said 10 not 30?
She deff said 10 ... but later used a 30 developer when she did it the second time

Yayy!! It’ll look so good!!
I think it looks good it looks pretty even over all!
We have similar skin tone and I was hoping it would look okay but it's so beautiful on you❣️
I feel like this colour brings more life to your face. You seem more radiant.
The color looks gorgeous on you!
thank you sm
You need to use a 30 developer so that it can lift your color.
yeah, i ended up redying it in the video, and used 30 that time:)
Yea the color really took in the front because that’s where she started applying it
final result is so flattering. out here looking like beyonce
Keep the content coming and I love how it came out 😍😍
thank you girl🫶🏽🫶🏽
I love it on you this color really suits you.
Looks great 👍🎉
I’m about to do this, I’m watching this vid for the confidence to get started 😅
You got thissss! 🫶🏽
Thank u sm this is so helpful!!!
For some people the roots will go lighter first so to prevent the different colors, you should apply the product first on yr length then the roots
That’s how I am! I don’t know why I didn’t think of that! Thank you!
oh my god you look like Beyonce so pretty !! love the copper hair, from Sydney
Using a protein filler before you dye your hair may help with color deposit evenly.
Wow beautiful ❤️
U don’t need to stab the containers, you’re meant to take off the cap, the cap has a lil dent on the other side youre meant to screw it on till it pops
i realized the caps have the dent when i was throwing out the bottles 🥲
Hey luv! For the second time you dyed your hair did you apply both copper and red colors or only copper?
What size bottle did you use for the 30 developer and how much of it do you use?? And should I use 2 or three bottles of the color ? Lol my color is like a faded dark brown similar to yours
“There’s no gloves no intrusions” had me dying😂 it’s not a box dye(the intrusions or in the box u have to like tear it)
Here watching 💕
I just purchased everything you got the 30 developer and the two L’Oréal hi light copper I’m so excited
Yayy! im so excited for you! :)
How did it go
@@thatgirl5630 good I also used the adore cinnamon semi permeant so it came out a little darker
YESSS GURL YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN 20 OR 30 DEVELOPER! NOT 40! THAT WOULD DAMAGE YOUR HAIR & MAKE YOUR ROOTS TOO LIGHT
Even a ten, it’s just the difference in time. Damages less but still same results
With I'm confused, didn't she say she used a 10 developer?
The color came out beautiful! I wanted to ask if this color lasted a lot of washes? or if you've done a touch-up ever since you dyed it?
:) thank youu!! , when i first dyed it , it was more of a red. after a few washes the color toned down to a more subtle copper, i retouched my roots twice since
@@helenetatiana TYSM for getting back to me! This was helpful.
how long did it last until it started washing out???
You r hair is beautiful
thank youuu ☺️
Next time ask them for a key for the dye to come out with no problem
Stab the hair dye bottle with the cap, you’ll see what I’m talking about, it will puncture the bottle open. ❤
I figured that out after i finished 🥲 now i know haha
When the color fades, will it fade back to her original hair color because she didn’t bleach it? Or fade to a lighter copper color?
it fades to a light brown type color but you can tell there’s still some red in it
you can look at my recent tiktok @helenexaamaral to see how it looks now :)
Did you dye virgin balck hair?
Yes it was my natural hair color :)
There's no instructions.....as she shows the instructions on the box 😂 love it though!
😂😂😅
how long did you leave it the second time ? 😍😍😍😍
about 40 minutes
Try 20 developer
Did anyone else see that orb flying around in her room?? She has a ghost
So did you use 10 volume developer or 30?
I dyed it twice, first time i used 10, second time i used 30. The 30 definitely lifted better
You'll be dying your hair like that from now until eternity , the color have to be lifted off of your hair the dark color that is and you can only do that by bleaching it then start the process of coloring your hair.
Girl you need at least a volume 30-40 for your hair color
Turned out great... hairdresser with a cosmetology license... 10 volume only deposits color
Did you use the whole bottle of developer and the two tubes?
yess i used all of the tubes and the full 8.oz of developer :)
U used the full bottle of developer for the 30 developer??
FOR VIRGIN HAIR IS IT OKAY TO USE 10vlomune developer?
It would be okay! but keep in mind the color prob won’t show so bright, it’ll be very subtle. maybe a 20 or 30 would be better for you depending on what you’re going for
@@helenetatiana what will happen if you put a little powder ?
10 deposits try a 20 or 30
Laita se väri minkä ehdotin että kokeilisit uutta hiusväriä välillä
Did you wash it off with shampoo or ?
yes, first i rinsed all the dye out first then I washed with shampoo
Will it work on my dyed dark brown hair?
unfortunately no :( you would have to bleach your hair, these only work on your natural hair color
You can use a color remover also, not necessarily bleach
30 developer
10 developer? lol
Your hair looks so dry.😢
it isss😭
15:17 u look like Beyonce here
This is not copper looks dark red or burgundy, I think copper looks best on real gingers or blondes, not on olive skin tone..imo
stfu she looks gorgeous it suits her perfectly
great content of the video congratulations beautiful lady, greetings from Mexico City.
@bradmondo
you gotta break the box, instructions are inside ! 🫶🏽
10 developer was the issue you need 30 developer so that I actually get the color. If you would of used the 30 to begin with that would of hit 👌🫶
La nuence de la couleur c est quoi stp
