I just wanted to say that she is exactly this sweet of a person in real life. I went to a hair show and she is as sweet and passionate about hair education as she is on this video. ❤🙏🏽
this is the sweetest comment, thank youuuu 💗💗💗
The blonde looks so natural on you! You look like that would be your natural color. I’m 50 and my hair was dirty blonde most of my adult life however now it’s this color. I spent years foil highlighting it myself. Then it just started growing in lighter and lighter. I like to say it finally got the message 😂
I wish my hair would get the message🤪
Maybe it will as you get older 🤞🤞
Me too😊 bleached my mousy hair since I was 16, I'm 55 now it's growing in white blonde, although I have to still do roots at the back top till it turns white, and I use a golden colour shampoo to get the sunshine blonde colour xx
Is it because it's gray?
@@Deborah-go3khlol that’s what it sounds like 😊
As a stylist in NYC for 40 years, you did a wonderful job!
😂 Nice loaded compliment.
Or you can just say "you did a wonderful job" 🤣
I love when you say: " I am blond forever." I say the same thing. I am forever blond. Such a marvelous hair color.
I used wella t14 with 20 vol developer to lighten my light brown roots to blonde and used your sectioning and rest of your application method and hot damn it worked! Better results than the salon plus I didn't miss any spots! Thank you for this, I now get to fix my hair for 10 bucks instead of 150
Oh girl, you are a MASTER of self application! You make it look so easy. Thank you for the video. I finally realized have to use 30 developer as well and was nervous to use it until I watched your clip.
thank you ❤️❤️
My goodness my arms hurt just watching this! You did such an amazing job ! Your hair looks amazing !
I've owed you this comment for a while. This video helped me to finally nail down the right process to bleach my hair and the right shades eq. Thank you for the work you put in to this one. It saves me hundreds of dollars every month!
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
You are SO fierce. I followed your instructions 6 months ago, and I have had so many compliments regarding how "vibrant and amazing" my blonde looks and has held up. ( Fast forward 6 months later,I am about to repeat the process)....yes, 6months IS a lot, however, i get phenomenal results REGARDLESS of the amount of time/growth that surfaces. ( If anything, my hair is CRAZY HEALTHY from * NOT* processing it to frequently.)The end result consistently delivers-- your tutorial is SENSATIONAL. *truly a " Holy Grail".....(no pun intended with your Chanel's name " Holy Hair") haha. THANK YOU AGAIN!! * Kind Regards, Jacklyn!❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
*too
that’s amazing ❤️❤️ so glad this was helpful!!
i love your soft whispery tone of voice. wether its cuz u have a baby asleep in the next room or its the middle of the night or u just speak that way, it is nice and soothing. i hate it when people are so loud u cant even understand them!
thank you 🥰🥰
Hi! I am a blonde girl from Russia. And I can confirm it’s the best blonde tutorial video. I am watching it a few times in order to pick up all the details. Like it, Thank you❤
It can be mesmerizing sometimes to watch a person do what they love.
girl, i am shook over the sweet n low packets!! thank you!! ❤
Yes me too
Are you for real though?! Asking for a friend 😂
Yesss my queen!!! Girl you did amazing!! I truly love how you really care about the integrity of your hair! And thank you so much for sharing your OCD TIPS because girl ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 yessss! Love it !!
I just did exactly what you did! The bag over the bleach helped alot. I applied toner just like you 9v and it turned out great!!! Thanks so much!! Lori bales
Omg so glad I found your channel. Love your energy gal! 🥰✨
BEAUTIFUL!!! Great job at explaining each step!
I have never heard of the sweet and low trick. And I have an insane aversion to any fake sugars- and I’m sitting here with freshly bleached roots. But next time (2-3 months) I am holding you to this and we’ll see.
If this even slightly helps. You’re my new hero.
THIS video is so satisfying to watch!!! I love it
Wow, you are so talented! I loved watching you do your own hair. It came out beautifully. I just moved and hope I can find a stylist as skilled as you are in my new town! 🤞🏻
Wow, I had to come back and comment. Great technique and beautiful outcome 😍!!!
Yes! I am also a dark haired brunette hairstylist that has been about that blonde life for YEARS! I have some dark wigs for those times when I wanna sport a brunette look but don't wanna commit to it. If you do a fashion color on your hair I would love to see a video on it!
Stunning! Thank you for the great tutorial and tips 😍
Looks fab❤️❤️ I love shades eq there is no other, some have tried to replicate but they have failed thanks for sharing😊
omg you made it look so easy and clean and neat omg
I want to thank you for this video. I moved from California to the middle of the west Texas desert and can’t go to a stylist currently. I was paying over $400 in California to get my hair done. Being an entrepreneur, I will not be spending that right now as I am starting g a couple businesses here. I am doing my hair at home and it’s almost platinum. I’m definitely keeping it up after I’ve invested so much! Thank you again!
Loved this video ❤..You just make videos so easy to watch .. thanks for sharing 👍🏼💖
yay! thank you💗💗
Wow this was amazing. I have been coloring my own hair for decades. Reds. But that was when my hair was super short, it was much easier. But now that I have covid hair, and my hair is past my shoulders, coloring is a nightmare procedure, IMHO. So like you, if I don't quite know what to do, I do nothing. Ugh. And it's getting to be that time again. Will definitely use your tips next time around!
I had to leave a comment, well compliment. I rarely watch videos like this straight through without skipping the yapping, I rarely subsribe, but honestly, I watched this straight through and subscribed, the narration was spot on, made me laugh at times but wasnt forced, and watching the way you work through the process as you explain it really helped me see where I can improve when working on myself. I hope you are still posting if not, I will be binge watching your channel listings. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
thank you, that means a lot 🥰❤️❤️
Love the video and all the tips. Looks like so much work I'm thinking of going dark again just because even if I could do this i think i would get tired of it very quickly. Kudos to everyone who can diy this! Your hair looks amazing. Passing your video on to my daughter who wants to do hair. :)
This was such a helpful video! I’ve been doing my platinum hair for 4 years now and it’s been a learning experience to say the least!
Great video!!! Love the tips and the whole flow of it. Was awesome . Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!
thank you, glad you enjoyed! 💗
so glad I found this video ur application is spot on iv been bleaching my hair for yrs and love blonde hair but was struggling with shoulder pain so had to find a stylist and she persuaded me to have foils and I hate it my hair is naturally red and I hate seeing my roots she didn't do them fine enough or close enough to my roots and also I have lots of breakage I'm also going through the menopause and my hair has gone really thin compared to how thick it used to be so now I feel very down and hate my hair it also looks different tones and patchy I went to another stylist and it made no difference so I'm mow stuck with patchy hair colour thin brittle hair and was told I can't go bk to full head bleach after having foils as this will damage my hair and will cause lots of breakage I'm so sad about this I also have breakage around the hairline so even if I have my hair up I have stupid looking short pieces please can you give me any advice this has really knocked my confidence. I wish I could come to you for my hair bleached your hair is stunning xx
This is the best video I've seen on this procedure 😍👍
thank you 💗💗
absolutely stunning work and you look sp gorgeous with this blond and the layered cut 😍
thank you ♥️
Thank you for explaining that you pull down at the end before rinsing. Wonderful tip! 👍🏼
This is the video we have been NEEDING GIRL THANK YOU!!
Love your work, and love your mom hope she’s doing well. I lost my mom a few years ago. Enjoy your special relationship!
This is so awesome. I actually learned of a lot watching this video. You made it so simple to understand.
Thank you so much for this video! I’m about to bleach my roots again and I always do a quick rewatch to remind myself of your technique which I always come back to as I’ve had the best results with it. And “level slim shady” has become part of my lexicon thanks to you. It’s such an accurate description of that color 😂
@@megandavis7357 hahaha so true😜
I like it. Step by step, very easy to understand. Good job 👍
I really enjoyed the video. Thanks for the hair tips MOST OF ALL!
Thanks for this video, I now feel like I can do it. Yours looks amazing!
WOW ! EXCELLENT JOB! I FIND THIS COULD ALSO APPLY TO MY ROOT COVERING. THANKS FOR SHARING DETAILS
Love using sweet and low it works wonders when bleaching no burning at all ❤
I wish I could be a blond my scalp and hair would never let me. So I’ll just watch. I love watching when you do your own hair so thank you for pushing through. I wonder what the chemistry is with sweet and low and irritation.
If you do highlighting with foils , You can achieve without irritating scalp. A violet shampoo not much would keep it toned.
Wow! It came out great!💝
Id love to know how many weeks to wait for a root touch up also Schwarzkopf makes a bleach with bonder inside, so I’m not sure if you use that and add the olaplex, but you did such a beautiful job more information is the best. Thank you so much for sharing.
I used to color my hair platinum. It is a fortune and the maintenance is rediculous. You do a beautiful job on your own hair, looks great!
Perfection! This girls got orange 🍊 and purple 💜 from too much toner. Next time I'll try your way. Watched the video after I bleached my hair. Yours is gorgeous. I need to buy Olea..❤🎉
Wow you did an amazing job. Never seen these results on level 5 hair.
You did a great job with your hair it looks beautiful god bless your hair u give me great tips thanks
looks beautiful!!
do you ahve a list of the products? or at least the gloss? i dont want to use toner so wanna try the gloss thing
This is the BEST blonde color video with toner I have seen in my life! It's literally perfect! Thank you!!!❤
love to hear that 🥰🥰 thank you!!!
Yasssssssssssssssssssss. Best tutorial!!!!
Thank youuuuuuuu!!!!!
Super beautiful work 😊, I just found your channel you gave amazing tip, I’m a professional stylist as well I’ve been doing hair for 22 years, but do to Covid, I’ve taken some time off. But I can’t wait to get back behind the chair, lots of love ❤️, Merry Christmas 🎄.
You're great with the hair. I can't believe 💕💕💕
Loooooved, loved, LOVED. Thank you.
This is pure talent. I can’t do my own hair but I wish I could
You are always lovely! So, whatever you decide will be marvelous!
*It’s a whole lifestyle* YES!!!! 😂 it took me years to get to the color I am at now, and I’m not even where I want to be. But I overheard a guy telling another guy something about me saying “that tall blonde over there….” and I said “excuse me, were you talking about me?” and he said “yes, im sorry, I didn’t know how else to describe you” and I said “THANK YOU❤😂 YOU MADE MY WHOLE SUMMER🥰” he had no clue why I was so thrilled. 😂
hahaha that’s amazing 😋😋
Best bleach tutorial I have seen. You are meticulous and the results speak to your high level of craft. I wish I had your skills.
such a great complement, thank you❤️
U make everything look so easyyyy even though it must be hard ur explaining it so well!!
thank you, I try!!! it is hard
Just did a bleach bath on my hair &&&& yeah didn’t turn out as I’d hoped. Thanks for your tips and help!!!
I had my salon for 51 yrs. Tnk God to see someone that’s does it like we were taught in 1971. Wish we’d had Olaplex back then. Awesome Wk well done 👍 ❤ I miss having my shampoo bowl to do my hair. But I manage in my apt in the kitchen sink. Never wash hair in shower. Always shower cap still after all these yrs. Girls complaining how cold the shower is to rinse color? Hello in the tub 🛀 or sink
Amazing job and awesome tips! I’m a platinum blonde as well and I’m always looking for a better bleach than what I use, right now I use the wella blondorplex bleach and I really love it cuz it’s pretty gentle, but I’ve been dying to try blondme cuz the lift I heard is better, I’m just worried it might be too strong for me hair lol. I’m a natural level 4, so I def do the slow and steady method with my retouches. You’re hair looks so good, it’s literally goals.
Schwarzkopf blonde me w bonder lifts my level 4 to pale blonde
I love the explanation of the whole process. Thanks. How many days did you wait to do you root touch up?
It was answered (7-8)weeks👍😇
Omg your hair is insanely beautiful! Question: when I bleach mine, the applying of the bleach takes so long that I worry about it being on my hair for such a long time. This prevents me from doing precise sectioning. But I add foil and you didn't so maybe that's the secret sauce. About how long does it take for you or other's hair to have all the bleach applied?
That depends on thickness of the hair. If you work slowly, start at the back of your head first. The front tend to process faster. Leave your from hairline for last
a few questions, what is your leave in conditioner, did you use equal parts of shades for your toner formula, hav you ever done a video on the heatless curls? how to do the wrap without the curl looking crazy? great video by the way!!
I love the way you explained this 😊❤
Love! Hair looks great! If it’s not broken don’t fix it ❤
What gloss/leave in conditioner do you use and are there any affordable ones out there too ? Loved seeing this blonde/lightener application 🥰💖💫
Hi thanks for your video ❤I have sensitive scalp I tried Blond me bleach powder instead of ion coconut sensitive skin hair bleach powder, it did list my hair faster but burned my scalp so badly I’m worried my hair won’t grow back. I gave the blonde me away. It says 9 levels of lift compared to 7 levels on ion. But I didn’t notice much difference and it still took an hour to process. So I’m just putting it out there that I have same color roots do same hair color but use ions bleach powder instead. It is boujee. I’m getting so tired of the maintenance. I really am but since I started going gray at 16 I have to constantly color my hair. Even w the red brown i was doing to make my green eyes pop , I had to redye the red brown often or it washed out and turned orange. So far I can’t find anything low maintance for my hair. I’m under stress trying it’s exhausting me and exasperation is kicking in but I have at least another month before I have to redo roots and if banding wasn’t an issue I could go two months. Thanks for video let me know if you know of anyone doing ions bleach on here thanks
Fellow blonde stylist here, great video 🥰
Fantastic🤩🤩! I love the tips and loved the result so much but can you mention the percentage of each gloss used along with how much developer pls?
I soooo love the way it turned out. I am also interested in ratios of gloss used
I always measure with my heart💗
I’m also very blond myself ,and I actually love the combo of toner u used ..I actually use the Wella T10,T18,T11 for the platinum look..Then the Sensitive scalp 30 is a violet color bottle to lift my roots..I have to say I love the brand you just used ..Thank you so much for your tips I may be trying it..Great job with your hair.Beautiful ❤
I am very impressed gorgeous results
Where did u learn the sweet n low tip from? That is like gold. Ill b adding it today. Glad i watched this now
Thank you wholy hair, you remind me of an angel 🎉😊
It's the gray life, for me!! I'm gonna attempt to do my roots, for my bday, next week. Hopefully, I can find some patience and still have some hair left. 😂😅
Looks beautiful! And so healthy! Wish I could be blonde. ❤
I habe natural dark brown hair and a few months ago went dark ashy blonde (love it!). But I had to bleach and tone and colour a million times to get the shades right and had to just learn it all from scratch, so my hair is now super damaged and a bit too dark because there’s so many layers of colours on top of basically white hair. My roots are now coming out. I got the L’Oréal bleach with 6% developer for the roots, do you thing that‘s enough? I’ll probably be very slow doing it alone so it will take a while to develop. Also, do you think that at the end when finishing putting bleach of the roots, I can mix shampoo and bleach to do a blonde wash all over when the roots are done to get rid of the colour layers on top so it will all be more uniform and lighter and so I can put on a non lifting toning glaze like Wella all over and end up with a colour that will slowly fade until I‘ll do the whole process the next time, so the colour doesn’t accumulate and always get darker. I ultimately want to end up with a very cool/beigey creamy darkish blonde (I have pale very olive skin, it‘s hard to find exakt tones that fit - but blonde surprisingly looks better on me than my natural dark hair(
This reminds me when I used to bleach my own hair, I loved to do it, but the maintenance got me at some point, also the need of a change. You did an amazing job, I enjoyed it a looooot!!❤️
My bf wants me to do his hair, thank you so much for the tips. He’s so excited to get his hair platinum. He’s 18 and he’s wanted this since he was 16. I’m finally able to do it..! 😁 I just hope it comes out good..!
From a born blonde forever blonde to another .....you look perfect! ❤
Waouuuu trop forte 💪💞 sinon je suis sûr que le gris vous irez à merveille 😉💙 je ne m'attendais pas à ce que vous ayez une petite voix douce 😊💞
Hello hun, I love this video and the tips you gave, absolutely amazed how you do the back yourself...i have a question, how did you do the back with using mirrors? I have a 360 degree mirror but still struggle to do the back. About 6 months ago i lost 70% of my hair due to breakage because i couldn't see the back to stop the bleach overlapping. My hair ruined and i have just used high lift since but it doesnt last as long as bleach. Can you advise what you use a set up of mirrors would be so helpful....anyone else agree? Thank you for any advice, lovely lady ❤❤
I’m so sorry that happened😭 all I can say is practice, and I move my mirror around as needed to see, but I still can’t see perfectly! I’ve been coloring my hair myself since literally middle school so it comes easy to me now💗
Thank you for the demonstration. Sorry for the question but what number was the olaplex that you applied to your hair? Thanks.
Oh just another question, are you using olaplex 2 for your roots after bleaching or toning? Thank you🥰
I am bleach blonde and I didn’t know about the sweet n low! Thank you. I did my hair last just and got a chemical burn. Ouch!
How can I get Olaplex #1?
I bleach my own hair at home and I buy all the Olaplex line. I also use Blondme. But if I can’t get #1 and #2 what do you recommend? You used #2 on your ends while bleaching your roots , what can I use on my ends as an alternative?
Your hair and channel are the best!
LOVE THIS! Best tutorial out there. I have a question. Did you use equal amounts of the shades eq? Can you share the recipe? I just love your results!!!!
I always measure with my heart 💗
@@WholyHairthis is like when i asj my mom for a recipe and she says "just to taste" haahha i get frustrated because i dont know what im tastong for because she is amazing and i am not hahaha you are also amazing! So would you say like a "mostly" this a "little" that... type of help for us ??
@@akamissvictoriaxoxo I totally get it! I honestly always change it up a bit but I do more 9P than anything else just cause my hair is stubborn and it cancels out the warmth the best!
Curious about the redken shades eq gloss/toner - your hair is such a lovely blonde and it seemed to tone it so well. What shade of it are you using to tone your roots? It didn't look like what I am used to which is purple toner. Does the redken shades eq work well for pale yellow to tone it down?
If you have to do the whole head like roots to end? How would do it.
Do you have a video taking level 2 to the lightest blond? And is it possible to lightened level 2 without using bleach?
I love this color and youre work!😍👌
Belíssimo cabelo! Você é impressionante na habilidade de cuidar do próprio cabelo. Parabéns! O tom ficou divino.
Adorável o final, com você aproveitando um passeio em família. 😊❤
I got platinum with 7 vol on the roots and 20 vol on the lengths. Im a natural level 2, but only my roots were natural. The lengths were red with the hicolor. So they were already 2 -3 levels higher. I mixed in the blue Additive. I left in on 30 min and reapplied the 20 vol/bleach on the lengths where there was still red. In total i left everything 1 h on. I had a platinum root and pastel pink lengths. (Staining from the red color)
Looks great! On the video you look like a natural level 3!
Also, I am curious, it looked like it lifted to an 8.5. (Except for the fine areas) How did you get it so cool with a level 9-10? TY!
I definitely think she was lighter than an 8.5. An 8 is mostly orange NRP and she didn’t have any orange remaining! So if she was at a 9/10 then her toners were right on point!
Thank you!! Amazing colour. When you mixed and applied the toner was there any peroxide involved? Was it the 2% peroxide eq processing solution you used with the other toners? (The big redken bottle)
Stunning 😍😍😍
