In this video I am going to introduce you all to the latest acquisition for the shed!
A 2004 (54 Plate) Peugeot Speedfight 2. This is a 100cc 2 stroke model.
It is a little shabby around the edges but should clean up nicely and run sweetly after a little bit of fettling.

I've got a 2001 Speedfight 2 X-Race 100cc. I bought it new, for £2k when I fancied a change from cars. I haven't started it for six years, so I must get onto that. The front tyre is still the original Dunlop. The rear tyre is only 18-months newer. If I can start it, I'll MOT it & maybe fit new belts.
I use to have this bike! Man I miss it. Same 307 graphics.
The plate was WA05EEU. Wish I had it still

Go for it! These little scooters are great fun! I also find that they are the fastest way to pop into town! I couldn't get there any quicker on a 'proper bike'
My father bought a similar Peugeot brand new back in 2005 . Now I drive it since 2014 . Pretty happy ! Use castrol power 1 racing and good gasoline. You will have 0 smoke . Adjust the jet on the carb . Check the drive belt also ! Mine broke and I replaced it last year . Change the spark plug frequently also . NGK BR8ES I think !
The whole engine is going to be coming apart but I will bear in mind all of your advice 👌🏻
So happy to have found you, I bought 1 of these today in blue its a 2001 2 owners from new father and son. Its been off the road in the garage since 2004 its only got 6000 miles on the clock. We fitted new battery and fresh fuel and it started straight up but the carb needs to be cleaned I think for it to run properly. It's a little tatty as the son fell off it a few times but it's only grazed/scratches no real cracks to worry about. I intend on restoring it as best as I can and keep it. I only paid £400 for it which I think was an absolute bargain.

The oil stain on the transmission case is likely oil draining from the airbox. Its a common symptom of duff reed valves.
I miss the smell of 2stroke, not quite that much though 😆
Yeah ..looks like its had a hard life , but I know your will soon get it sorted..be a fun little run about..
Hi how are you getting on with the bike? I have a original WRC Spoiler here still has the sticker on in fantastic condition other than a bit of touch up paint and is for sale lmk if you would like it??

I have a speedfight 4 now, no badge on it. Just ordered one. Any advice on what I can use to stick it on the bike? I’m thinking gorilla glue
Search for 3M VHB on eBay, that stuff is great for that kind of thing.

Louder than I thought it was going to be and she smokes just a little bit lol
Yeah. it's a noisy one. The smokiness calms down a bit once up to temp but it's leaking badly from the join between the exhaust port and the exhaust pipe!

That exhaust isn't standard the best thing to do is replace the silencer packing and replaced studs or gaskets.
Yeah, sounds like a good plan!
