Good info, I hadn't thought about the position of the magnetic poles facing each other. That could have been a complete fiasco to diagnose later haha

Really helpful vid Kev! Will be removing fairing soon. One thing to note is there is a second fusebox on the left side for ABS models.

To me with the risers on, it seems the clip ons some don't get hold of much of the forks, dodgy to my mind, wouldn't want them sliding off at umpteen miles per hour

Hi kev I love the way you make the videos so simple and no waffling, I had a stroke last year and it has affected my left arm I'm OK but I've been left with a weakness in my hand and I'm struggling with the clutch leaver after about 90 miles I seem to lose the strength in my hand is there any way I can make the clutch softer or easier to operate cheers kev ,colin Taylor

Kev, you probably do away with just over a foot of rectifier wiring, does the old rectifier wiring cause that many issues? I know it’s thinner but 12 inches doesn’t seem that much. Oh matron.

Wanted to ask before I buy this head unit for my car, does it come with the adaptors or do you have to buy them separately? Specifically the ones just for the head unit rather than the ones for the microphone/dab radio.

Great video Kev but quick question please, I see you mix your own coolant and use 50/50 mix with distilled water. Question: what ethylene glycol do you use please? Got to do this on my blackbird. Slave cylinder was leaking, so have a rebuild kit to fit and doing clutch master cylinder as well.

Hi Kev, thanks for your videos, really helpful. About to start changing brake fluid on my VFR. What the advantage in draining the system fully before adding new fluid? Seems like more risk of getting air in the lines. Before seeing this video, I was planning to change the fluid using the method you show at the end but not draining fully.

Is the same kit for both the clutch master cylinder and front brake master cylinder?

Few tips. I didn’t need to remove outer door trim. When removing sound/insulation pad, just use a plastic scraper and slice through the “insulation” while peeling the pad off. I had no damage to mine. Hot day helps. The sprocket has a T20 on the close side and Allen key on the other, punch/screwdriver and hammer works pretty well on a stubborn one. I was caught out by the alignment I’m about 2 mm short of the top trim. I cleaned the window when I took it out so couldn’t see the old line. Excellent video. Thank you.

Hi Kev I would like to ask you a question but it's not about your yamaha it's about the honda vfr can you tell me if a right hand side footrest bracket from a abs model will fit a normal vfr it looks the same to look at but because it's abs will it fit.

15mins if everything goes perfectly. Mine have just took 3 hours of various hammers, and pointy tools, after an hour I went and bought a new blowtorch. 5 goes with heat and more hitting and eventually it gave in and came loose.
