    This helps so much. I just got my Oberon slave and Goodridge braided line in the mail. Can't wait to feel the difference.

    My clutch just went out on my 04 and your video reaffirms that I can do this repair. Thanks!

    Good job man. Only one criticism,,, I would have clean hands or gloves when reassembling so I didn’t get any small particles of dirt in the seals.

      Well crap I noticed you cleaned your hands. Sorry spoke too soon.

    Thank you my good man. Outstanding explanation. I believe you saved me money. This is my first real (headbulbs) issue at 45k miles. Cheers

    Wow, nice bars! Last video I watched was for the brake fluid bleed. Can you please make a video on the bars? Too late for fitment- but at least how the ergonomics look, your opinion, some shots on the bike, and possibly a video of you riding? Thank you!

    Bloody fantastic thanks so much for this Kev. What's the red rubber grease not familiar with it but would like to copy your procedure.

    Hi Kev,love you videos and channel,keep making great content. I was wondering if you have ever made a video of how to remove the center stand on the vfr 800 6th gen. I want to remove mine to refirbish it but i am not shure how to do it.

    What are the signs that lead to a rebuild of the slave cylinder? Heavy clutch? Not engaging/disengaging cleanly?

    • @KevsShed
      @KevsShed  Před 2 lety +5

      It could be one or many of several things such as an inability to select gears, low fluid level or potentially a leak of fluid from the cylinder. The clutch lever may come all the way to the bar before operating the actual clutch. The clutch lever may feel loose or almost kind of floppy and there could also be noticeable contamination in the fluid which can be caused by the rubber components disintegrating into the fluid or water being allowed to enter the system. 👌

    Did you not get a replacement braided hose for the clutch system when you did the brakes?

    • @KevsShed

      Yep, separate video for that bud 👌🏻

    Does anyone know the exact size of the 3 long bolts that hold the slave cylinder in? For the life of me I can not find them online and I am in need of just one. The previous owner of my vfr800 forgot the put all 3 back in so I have a very very slow leak there

    once bike gets warmed up my clutch will not engage. I bleed and replaced fluid with no results. should I look into master or slave? both?

    • @KevsShed
      @KevsShed  Před 2 lety

      If neither have had attention since the bike was new then I would do both, the parts are cheap enough! 👍🏻
