    Here's the funny thing, this is how I've been retwiating my locs all along. I never felt comfortable palm rolling my hair or anyone else's. The loc smything method felt easier and more comfortable to me. I didn't even know it was a thing. WOW!!!! Thanks for educating me on the proper term.

      Exactly, Ive mine for 7 years and did this since ever, never did a palm roll, i call it finger roll, funniest thing is some people back 7 years ago was saying not do ever do it lol thanks the gods Ive an open mind and could see thru, that it actually gives u more of an accuracy when doing it imo

    Wow. I’m shocked this isn’t a normal technique used. I did my teenage sons locs for the first time the other day. I wanted to help him save money. Going to a salon is expensive. I figured how hard could it be. Palm rolling was hurting my hands and wasn’t giving me the results I wanted, so I actually started doing this technique unbeknownst to me that it’s a special technique. It’s something I thought I made up just to get the job done 😂 His hair looked so good once I finished. It actually looked better and much more neat than when he’s gone to the shop.

    Oh wow. Naturally this was the technique I’ve been doing instead of palm rolling my locs but I didn’t know that it was an actual thing.

  • @tarrafalsmeetingpointservi816

    This is how I locked my son's hair and didn't even know what palm rolling was at the time. His locks are neat and organized. They're not frizzy or loose even though I did them while he was sleeping (he was 1.5 years old when I started them)

    My daughter and I both have issue with thinning all g our hair lines and have lost locs due to it. I don't twist my hair often Wondering if this could this technique could help with providing me to go longer between retwist and have a neat hairline.

    • @nubianrentalsusvi
      @nubianrentalsusvi Před 2 lety

      Follow yannie the locologist- locs are not about neatness- retwist should be twice a year or you will have thinning- hair on average grows 6 inches a year so why the manipulation so often - she explains why the thinning- " leave the hair alone stop the manipulation and you stop the thinning - with continued thinning new growth you will have no loc
