Hi Jason. Myself, like 100s of others, have been plagued with degradation with Intel i9 and i7 13th and 14th Gen CPUs. I placed an RMA request yesterday for my 14900K due to issues related to the chips running wild with voltage, overheating and causing BSODs "out of video memory" crashes. Just caution in the wind that this occurs loading BIOS defaults (I'm not an overclocker) and performance will decline over time. It's just now making the PC news and there is a huge Reddit thread about it that I discovered while researching the issue. If these CPUs are not dialed back by undervolting and setting limits, there's a high probability this will continue to happen to others. Thanks!

I have got almost this exact build (AMD version with the 5600). The build started out with an RX6600 as a budget baseline last year to replace my beloved 8350 (which is still being used to this day by my kids, it certainly doesn't want to die). Then a few weeks ago I invested in an RX6750XT (£200 (uk) net cost after the trade-in of the 6600).
Even though my experience so far has really hit my sweet spot for a great build for my budget, this video has given me even more satisfaction knowing that I made some really good choices.

Thank you for this. Been back and forth about getting a new GFX card. Had to rebuild my PC during the bubble and ended up with a 1650 from NVIDIA mixed with Ryzen 5600x. I know it is an ultimate grimace. So I have been biding time waiting for cards to become reasonable. Ended up with a 6750XT as you note it is in a good spot and it was the same price as the 6700XT so I thought might as well pick it up. Also, I can pass along the rig to my daughter in another year, when I finally get to build myself something nicer.

Hey Jason, thanks for the great content. I just build my second gaming PC and your videos were so helpful to have some guidelines.

@@PCBuilderChannel My previous build was 8GB VRAM, 1080p 21" 144Hz, and I did well in shooters and in basic design work. I sold it for $800 and was thinking of building a $5K PC! But after the video, a 1440p 12GB VRAM 27" 165Hz is a significantly good upgrade. Those extra pixels on the monitor and refresh are significant for competitive play (larger targets and more screen updates) and represent a very good cost-performance benefit over waiting to save for a more expensive build. Also, the tech is advancing so fast I think it's best to snag these deals. One can get very choosy and caught up in hype and miss out on the fun of having a PC. Also there may be better QHD (asrock phantom costs eur337) monitor option in my region (europe) like the KOORUI 27" 240hz(costs eur280)/144hz. FYI I watched the $600, however think the build here is more clear and you have monitor options. Anyway knowledge is the key, so thanks again :)

There are a couple of settings in Helldivers 2 that really hammer the GPU for very little visual quality so I turn them off. Ambient Occulusion being a huge one so turn that off. Also, I turn off almost all the Radeon features like anti-lag and motion whatever the motion one is called. I also turn the FOV to max so I can see the air units better, and I've turned down some of the lighting effects because the glare they produce makes it hard to see targets further away (or you can shoot out the lights which helps too).

You can fox that by getting fans with their own software, For example Corsair, but will cost more tham spending anywhere from $25-$35 more for a better Motherboard. Hello to whoever is reading this comment. When he talks about the Deepcool CC360 PC Case (12:45) he forgot to mention one thing: The case doesn't have a lot of room for cable management. I've just built myself a 1400$ Gaming/Video Production PC (Ryzen 9 7900 with RX 7800 XT) and I used the same case, but white.
The case itself is great, but if you want to use cable extensions (I used white ones), then it would be hard to manage them. There is enough room to manage the PSU cables but after I added the cable extensions: I had to remove the HDD Storage.
So in other words: If you are going to build a PC using one of the 2 Cases (the black or white one) then buy a PSU that has the matching cable color, because there won't be enough room to manage your cables if you add cable extensions. If you want to add some cable extensions to your build then buy a bigger case or be ready to remove the HDD Storage.
