Old Filipino commercials are so nostalgic. Did not know some of them are banned. I remember watching these ads when i was 6. It gives a very sentimental and bittersweet feeling

Well, Racism was the issue the black baby white mother was banned, but I watched the commercial before, and I think that the mother was dark-skinned before mysteriously whitened her skin.

The ad was supposed to be a dark skinned mother giving birth to a dark skinned baby, but because she used the soap her skin got whiter. It was just the typical beauty standard back in the days and I don't think it was meant to be racist or anything.

Fun fact about sa Memory Plus ad: Other than sa ABS-CBN exclusively inere ang ad na to lalo pag yung Umagang Kay Ganda at KrisTV, madalas din to inere sa Nickelodeon at Cartoon Network, kasabay pa nito yung Brush 3X a day PSA ng Colgate.
Di ko nalalagpasan tong ad na to pag nanonood ako ng UKG or yung mga pang-umaga na anime at cartoons or kapag commercial break ng Adventure Time at Regular Show sa Cartoon Network.

My opinons on these commercials:
2002- Probably, The Domex one is explanatory. This is wrong. You need water to wash it off. The woman just wipe it and its done. (probably she washed it afterwards after the filming)
2004- Biolink is wild. Why rascism always be a problem sometimes?
2005- The Biolink one is okay. No wrongdoings at all.
- A single Safeguard papaya soap commercial. Hardy har har. Another type of saying "I haven't showered since last year."
2006- Biolink again. But hey, the photographer is confused and that's normal.
-PSCO one is innocent. Probably the reasons is politics I don't know.
- Vaseline... VASELINE... What's the meaning of " I can even touch lives" ?
2007- The Diatabs commercial is nonsensical. A single medicine commercial banned for absolutely nothing.
- Biolink needs some explaining to do. Torture in the background. But gender equality is a benefit though in that commercial.
2008- The ones who banned the Jolibee commercial are a menace to society. They should be not near to a person in a 20 meter radius.
2009- It's a toothpaste commercial alright. The person who banned this must be drunk.
- Even the Joy commercial. The standards must be wild.
2011- Why. WHY... A medicine commercial being banned? Another type of saying "whats health?"
2013- Yeah. Keep your secrets.
2015- The Pampers one, I think they thought its too explicit.
- A single Sunlight commercial. A funny commercial for a funny reason to ban it. How funny it is.
