Great to see more Asian-Americans exceeding well in the new generation of basketball. Great way to compete!
More? Who are the ones playing now? There was Yoa & Lin of course but who's out there now that makes him the "more" u speak of??
@@GunninRebel55 Yao isn't Asian American lol.... Also, obviously he was talking about young players who are not old enough to be in the NBA. This is simple reading comprehension. You only bounced balls while you were young or what?
@@abouttime2569 I'm sure you've done a lot more with balls than I ever did.
@GunninRebel55 Jordan Clarkson - Utah, Jalen Green - Hou, Jaylin Williams - Okc
they're mix @@TEVMDEIICES
So refreshing to watch a game of high level young athletes where, atleast in this video, had no showboating, trash talking, complaining... Especially where one of the players was ranked number one... Kudos to the parents, coaches, players
The help defense on the black team is great to see. I fee Iike these tourneys never have any teams being dogs on defense. It’s refreshing
factual, you can tell they are well coached and know exactly when to or not help
What the heck your know about that! I commented last night that I see why offense is so great because no defense taught or played for a whole game or year 😊❤
It's rare that someone wants to play a good defense. Props!
Awesome to see Asian Americans doing well in basketball. He could be another Linsanity!
just let him be, the jayden yim.
If he makes it to the nba it'll be as an asst coach or something like that. He might float around the G-league a few years until he realizes he'd be a liability on an nba team and goes to play in China.
@@GunninRebel55 says you. He's good enough to be in the NBA, the real question is if they will give an Asian American a chance.
@@pjscafe Oh sure play the race card. How convenient. Yuta Watanabe, Yao, Lin, Wong Zhizhi, Yi Jianlian and many others got a chance so please don't try that. How the hell is a 5'7" 15 yr old "good enough to play in the nba" against the best competition in the world, not high school boys, but grown men. Can he guard SGA, Ant Edwards, Luka? Teams will target him every play. On offense he'll get smothered every time he touches the ball. He better have Stephs shot, CP3's playmaking, Kyrie's handle, and Marcus Smarts defense and gain a ton of strength to have a shot.
And none of them were elite. Yao was good but never lead his team to a title or even a finals appearance. Lin was good for 2 weeks then he was trash. And Lin was a big guard. Not a 5'7" hobbit. Lol
Smart naming him Jayden, will get into the NBA for sure
That's not his real name. That's his American name.
If someone told me there’s a kid named Jayden playing for the Compton Magic, my last guess would be that he’s Asian, haha.
Yup that reverse privilege
Would be sure NBA if he were named Tyrese...
LOL, he's what? 5' 10"? He ain't going anywhere near the NBA
Out there undersized but he’s a dog on defense and got that consistent range
Sadly being undersized will be the reason he never makes it to the NBA no matter how good you are.
He might not even make it D1..
He might not do this or do that…blah, blah. I’m just talking about and admiring his game right now. 😂😂😂
@@JCizzleSoCalTHIS not everyone even wanna make the league their are more guaranteed bags and an easier schedule elsewhere, anyway.
The smallest guy on the court plays the best defense.
Kids these days come out of the womb shooting threes.
that jump ball toss
Ryan definitely elite
He is a freshman at 5"10. Lets say he grows an inch a year, he will be sitting at 6"1/6"2 range. He will need to know the craft of being a point guard unless he hits some crazy growth spurt. He is quick, focused, and has a good touch and plays tight defense. Lets see how he does in high school...
That magic team is deep
what's with the jump ball, the Compton Magic player wasn't even ready.......
the other team actually had a chance too beat wilder's team but they have monsters on their team
is it me or i am getting love and thunder vibe when i see chris hemsworth with that hair
Jayden Him 🔥
These are new generations born with Stephen Curry’s dna.

in next 10-20 years nba will finally have a lot more asians
i hope so, but it might be closer to 20 years than 10-15..
Next Asian guard? Xaivian Lee (Korean-Canadian) from Yale. Already plays for Team Canada Junior teams.
princeton
Princeton
What are the high schools? They are respectful and well behaved.
How tall is j
Bruh, RJ hampton aint been on the magic for 2 years lmao
Can y’all try to catch SPE/phenom United 3rd grade they got great ball movement for third graders. After this weekend from 26-28 in April down in Columbus Ohio called the Addidas spring stripes
As an Asian and wanted to get in the NBA u gotta work triple harder than the rest. Less than 0.5% chances will make it and Jeremy Lin was the only one.
Jeremy Lin was not the only one Asian to make it to the NBA lol...even if you count only Asian Americans, he still isn't the only one to make it. But he is by far the best and most successful Asian American NBA player tho.
0:51 no foul?
Ikr
I dunno... he looks like he's 5'10... it's gonna be a tough road
Kinda cool to see an Asian guy called "Jayden" tho haha
Here comes all the Non Asians getting triggered by this Videos title.
They don’t like it, better stop 😂😂😂
Yellermumba
Fouling will eventually be called. So defense is not all that. Good shooting but other team did not defend his 3s
Have toy been the nba. Defense here is better than most nba teams.
Yimsanity soon?
Cant watch it all with all the camera movement.
Bro even asian kids are named Jayden now?
He must be only half Asian.
I know right? Next thing, he’ll come out with braids…how dare they to steal from other cultures 😂😂😂😂
in a few years Asian kid will be name Jamar and Calvin
Stop using your cell phones, game consoles, stop playing video games. Stop with the martial arts and Asian themed tattoos. Stop eating Asian food..
Y’all lose more.
Black people always think they give so much.
When they’re the only people who think that.

An Asian playing for Compton?
He’s not tall enough to make the NBA. 6’6” is like minimum.
He a freshman
@@kingboji958 Maybe he will sprout.
I guess you can be 6’1 minimum but it’s very rare to make it, and you got to play lights out and have the endurance against bigger stronger guys.
6’6” is average in NBA
@@vinnypeng6106 I’m not saying he can’t and won’t, I’ll root for him. I’m just saying it’s a long hard road being shorter. Plus the NBA 95% of the time, don’t know how to pass to get easy shots, lol, they make all hard shots (look easy). And 50% miss usually hard shots. So you got to do MJ stuff, which this guy does, lol. If you’re too short it will be taxing on the body, because it’s taxing on a 6’6” player.
This guy looks 6’1 or maybe 6’2”,
maybe he can have a long career, he definitely hypes up the crowd, I’m rooting for him, he’s fun and exciting to watch.
bro fouls every time he steals the ball like what
Nooo he taking they shit 🤣
Yeah y’all new age hoopers just used to no contact fr
He def fouling but if u the offensive player u gotta put ur shoulder in his jaw
@@eddiecwinn9528 no because he is literally reaching in.. bro pushes the offensive player back, away from the ball, so that he can steal it
@@olodakun2k84 what are u supposed to do when he’s pushing you away from the ball and making u off balance
The Asian dude is too tiny
So tiny that he's torching everybody. lol
would cook you any place and time
And he’s cooking people twice his size.
