Did you put the factory turbo heat shield back on? will it fit?
How is it still running reliability wise or just in general? If there was problems what and when was it after install? Currently have a stock 16 WRX and I am wondering for a future personal install
Car has been sold for upwards of 4 months now unfortunately but was running strong without any problems
idk if it's because i come from the world of boosted inline 6's but I always wanted a WRX/STI and I finally had the opportunity to get myself into a 2018 WRX as a daily, but idk I'm just not impressed. 350-400whp is limit on stock block?? But then yesterday it hit me... These are 4 bangers. All this time I've been driving boosted inline 6's and coming from a B58 as a daily, and my R32 GTR as a weekend cruiser.... Now with that perspective of it being a 2 liter 4 banger.... 350whp-400whp seems pretty good. lol. Can't wait for my J-Pipe, apparently the J-Pipe and TGV/EGV Delete are the biggest power increase differences I'm going to notice. I'll probably get a E-Tune or Protune for it as well
That was my dilema of getting rid of this car and getting a different platform but like you said it’s a 4 cylinder lol. Now with this turbo and some other mods, makes this thing pretty insane. You all will find out what type of numbers I’m pulling on a stock block! Thanks for the support and you’ll love your jpipe for sure!!!
no subarus are just garbage. lots of other 4 cylinder capable of 500-600hp stock engine nbd... ea888 comes to mind

It comes down to the tuner and the size of ur balls on how much ho u want, you if u want 700 stock block only tuner I trust bbr or jr tuned

Hey I was just Wondering I have the same Turbo set up it up in my WRX there are 2 is who threaded holes on the back side of the Waste gate did you plug one hole with the included included grub screw or did you leave them both open open? Thanks

@Kim Abiang I doesn't matter which one and yes with the grub screw included. iv been running 20lb boost at 350whp for over 6000miles now on stock block
@@nitrosomniak Good shi! No issues whatsoever? Do you have any supporting mods? And I actually bought my BL turbo used.. and the previous owner plugged one hole already with a set screw and the other with a fitting.. he then told me not to touch or remove anything installed on the iwg. Do you think Ill be fine with one of the fittings installed on it?

Connecting rods are the weak link. Around 370torque is the max and your on borrowed time.

Im running an e60 tune making a safe 370whp (tgv delete, egr delete, uppipe, Intake, southbend clutch, downpipe, ebcs,) please keep us up to date on if the stock fuel pumps and injectors are feeding the car enough, and how the car is liking the new turbo! I’m very excited for you homie!

E60 good w/ stock fuel system or are there any upgrades needed? Debating if I want to commit to a e-mix tune, only 93, or just pay the extra for both 93 and e-mix tune.
@@peeposadboy on the FA20’s they are good to go with the stock direct injection. E60 is like 2 gallons of premium and the rest e85 🤟🏻 best power bump for the money! The throttle response is insane and you’ll gain mpg!

Absolutely working on a full sound vid and a review vid! But it’s been holding up great! Amazing turbo sounds and amazing power up top! No problems with it to this day! Will keep you all updated!

Bro pero eso es lo que aguanta el turbo verdad yo quiero ponerle uno pero quisiera dejarlo minimo en 320 a 350 HP me dejas saber que tipo de tune le hiciste y que modificaciones hay que hacer.
Creo lo que aguanta el turbo es 500, cuando le hize el tune fue un dyno tune y pudo hacer 420 caballos y tenía espacio para más.
Gracias por la información el mío trae stock turbo pero quiero cambiárselo para mejor spools.! Lo traes con el stock block?!
