In this video, I have shared my experience of travelling on public transport in Manipur. I took a minibus ( Winger ) from Imphal to Ukhrul.
In Ukhrul, I met a Manipuri film star, Kaiku.
Ukhrul/Hunphun is a town in the state of Manipur, India. Ukhrul is the home of the Tangkhul Naga. It is the administrative headquarter of the Ukhrul district. There are also four sub-divisions in the district for administering the villages in and around it. The villages, however, are governed by the 'village heads'.

Kaiku Sir is right, I'm from Northern side states. years back, When I invited one of my good friends to visit Northeast but suddenly his mother interrupted and started to influenced the trips by saying... Northeast has cannibles, terrorist, people die there , kidnap etc. He didnt come but we some friends made to the trips. Northeast has been under rumours for a long time.. but its beautiful regions in actual. I listened to my uncle who is civil servant.. said... "India would be the same and boring, Its northeast which made it different taste from other countries".
It is called the fear of the unknown.
I am from Maharashtra and my poor parents had never travelled outside Maharashtra in their life. I remember when I was first going to Delhi, I got advise from 20 well wishers telling me to not go out in the dark etc. They told that Haryana Jatts are violent people etc.
Same thing happened when going to Patna.
I'm from Rajasthan but studying in Delhi. Yes it happens. But Haryanvi jats in majority, they are violent. When you'll see two jats around.. they don't compromise with anything. The proverb" Jat Ka dimag ghutne Mai hota Hain" is said for the reason. My uncle is posted in Northeast.. He always have to say about it. We know about Patna and jats.. Still people go there and stay there it's not that big issues Still developments are there. The real big issue is with northeast since 1947. If you search, most discrimination and racism are faced by Northeast people in India. When you hear.. cannibal and violent..which one makes you more scary? Everything is rumour about them and this we people need to understand.

I have a friend there in Ukhrul & he invited me for Christmas in 2020, we stayed there for a couple of days & one thing I'll tell u is that they really love their pork meat...we were always served pork for majority of our stay there & I gotta say the taste didn't dissapoint...Amazing experience in Ukhrul. Such a lovely place.
Even Manipuri people know the reason behind " Window seat milega na bhai". We are divided by different faces but bond with Indian feelings.
We are not actually divided by different faces, it's all because of different climatic conditions people are adapted to different features..... I guarantee if any North/South Indian would settle in Higher altitude, they will start developing similar physical features which would be visible after 15-20 generations and vise versa (even without inter breeding with local community).....

Nagaland, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram, Assam, Darjeeling, Sikkim, Nepal and Tibet are lost siblings. Their kindness, food, and cultures are very similar to each other.
Tibet Nepal were always separate from northeast. Don't mix them just because they look similar

Tibetan tribes came over to North-East ages ago. My own tribe (from Assam&Arunachal came to North-East from the Southern regions of Tibet). So, yes, Tibet and Nepal and all that are indeed very similar with North-East.

Tibet is not just the Tibet you see in media. There are also many tribes living in South side of Tibet. Bokar, Lhoba people. We came from there to Arunachal then to Assam.

After travelling around manipur from Delhi since 24Feb. I checked in imphal yesterday from moreh. Only problem in manipur I am vegetarian but manipur is about fish egg . Also wheat is rare .
No go to any Hotel we have both veg and non veg options
Go to laxmi kitchen , emoinu kitchen , or hotels behind polo ground and asked for mera mesh or veg thali ..
You may be right, but stick to veg food. We don't have right to kill any animal for the sack of our taste.
