Reyes had him a couple times, this was a competitive fight early on but Jiri has a granite chin and great pressure
Did he though? Didn’t really seem like it this fight reminded me of when he fought polish power and got destroyed.
@@the_Jdogg he did lol. Jiri even admitted he got ko'd for a sec by an uptick plus he had to shoot for a desperation takedown once after getting rocked by a counter. But he got through it and destroyed him in the end. Great match lol
@@the_Jdogg jiri got caught a lot. He was playing with dom like “haha nice shot” every time dom caught him with the patented dom counter left. It happened enough to be a threat to prochazka. Then the famous upkick that I thought ended the fight, but prochazka recovered stupid fast from that.
If his chin isn’t ready for polish power, jiri better find different games to play in the octagon.
Fuck Google ok but did you see what polish power did to both Reyes and even Israel adasanya? He completely destroyed Reyes and he beat adesanya who was undefeated up until that fight. I don’t think Jiri stands a chance against polish power but we’ll see.

Jiri admitted to being KO’d for about 2 seconds with the up kick. He said he was just lucky enough to land on top of a beat up Reyes so he could recover.

Funny how some ppl argue that Jiri didnt destroy Dom because Dom rocked him too. Man, to demolish means beat the sht out of somebody - which is exactly what Jiri did. Tkod him nearly twice in RD1, broke not just his nose but multiple face bones and koed him into the mtfkn coma. That is pure destruction and I barely see Dom be ever same again after this loss.

Jiri looks like he will have a good career.
He could have a great career if he don’t take anymore of them up kicks. As well as those unnecessary shots he takes when taunting / showing off. I like watching him fight just think how dangerous this guy can be. If stay 100% focused with out sticking his out there for a free hit. It only takes one & you never know witch one it will be.

Demolished is accurate, Reyes had some nice counter punches throughout but Prochazka was definitely landing the harder shots through out and it showed.
I hope Reyes bounces back honestly. I wanna see him vs Thiago Santos next because he’s also on a losing streak or Anthony smith since he’s worked his way back into the mix a little bit

Nah bruh he copped some good hits but no where near as many as Reyes
It wasn’t back and forth. It was one sided for Jiri. Reyes had some counters but he was outstruck and then knocked out. So getting knocked out in the second round could be considered “demolished” imo

He definitely got demolished. He not only got brutally knocked out but he is till this day still healing from that fight.

Reyes was not dominated. He hurt jiri a couple of times. But damn, jiri pressure, cardio and chin are on another level! This was a great fight. I wish it went longer. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Plus jiri had a +10 connection advantage with the antenna on top of his head 🤣

As a lifelong boxing fan, respecting the sport, appreciating old school fighters, seeing how much it has developed... I can't stand watching this "mma" bullshit. Is this even a fight? What exactly did they do to prepare for this? Repeatedly walk into a wall between their bodybuilding routine? Why aren't they keeping their hands up?!?! Why cant they see these slow punches and bob'n'weave??? Sure... their opponent has no idea there's such a thing as punching mechanics or how to set up and throw a real haymaker but that doesn't mean you should eat everything thrown at you like it's an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Reyes was a pure counter striker. When he faces a pure attacker he has problems. When Proha(whatever) faces a well rounded opponent he will look like a chump. Styles make matchups.
