Avatar is one of my favorite films and I've waiting 13 long years for this moment! James Cameron is an absolute genius. It will be especially relevant to me since I've been an avid scuba diver, free diver, and ocean lover all my life (and it breaks my heart to see what we have done to it). Also curious to find out how they managed to resurrect Grace and Quaritch from the dead. Can't wait for December 16th!

James Cameron is correct. I write everything or record everything down when waking. I have very inspiring, storytelling dreams. I can control them for the most part, and can say to myself (subconcious?) you are dreaming but help make the narrative also. It is fantastic state to be able to conjure in your sleep, I look forward to my dreams - so many stories being told and envisioned. One day I have a few that I think are worthy and will make it to screen! Cheers to Avatar and Cast and Crew! Thank you James Cameron!

Once upon a tym I was studying 6th grade my teacher came and said to us you must watch avatar in theatre it was a lyf tym experience but at that tym my family was not movie watching family in theatres now I'm 23 I can't wait to see in theatre..once a dream now it will not be a dream anymore.

When _Avatar_ came out, I'm not sure people were entirely ready for it, so they ironically compared it to things they already knew and wrote it off as derivative. That was always the most consistent critique. So avatar 2 is in a unique position of being a movie that is actually on _better_ footing for being a sequel.
When you make a new video game, it's very easy to justify doing a sequel because technology is always improving and there are so many dimensions across which you can expand and refine that you don't even really need to make a radically new experience much of the time -- a game sequel can do just fine by being more or less a 2.0 build of the previous game. Whereas a movie sequel is usually on it's back foot because the focus is on the storytelling and there's only so much you can do to open up a story that's self contained and already tied up it's loose ends.
Avatar 2 is a bit like the former in that James is always so far on the bleeding edge of what technology can do that this movie can breach technical barriers that even the first movie couldn't touch and it's CG still stands out 13 years later.
But on top of that James was always playing the long game with his story and doesn't seemed to be bluffing when he claims up to seven Avatar movies could eventually make ti to the big screen.

Glad I never saw an Avatar film. James Cameron hates masculinity. That is enough for me
I have to say I was disappointed in the movie. Way over hyped. I personally enjoyed avatar 1 more. Don't get me wrong, avatar 2 was good, but 1 was more enjoyable for me. I still highly recommend watching 2 if u enjoyed 1, but it's definitely not better than 1, maybe equal in some way, but 1 had an overall better balance. I think for James & the cast it's different because of the lengthy time involved, but as a fan avatar 1 is still my favourite. I have no intention of watching it again in the cinema like I did with avatar 1, but I will when it's free on Disney plus. Avatar 1 gets 9/10 for me, avatar 2 7/10...interesting to see what happens in avatar 3, given it's part 2 to avatar 2, maybe that's why I'm feeling that 2 isn't as good as 1, because the story isn't finished. I don't know, but I'm so confused about all the hype, because 1 was far more enjoyable & I only saw it recently in the cinema when they revived it to refresh our memory for avatar 2. I hope it does very good because I would love to see avatar 3, given it's part 2.

Lol dream. Terminator and matrix was a story made by a black woman who had her ideas ripped off. She won a settlement in court.
the movie a total turd waiting to be flushed. visuals and effects only thing going for it. way too much unnecessary violence. it's really a war movie. it's overlong by an hour at least and the script-especially some of the language-is amateurish. Cameron isn't a director anymore he's a special effects coordinator. did he not read the whole script? don't waste your time and money. if you want to watch it, wait until you can stream at home.
Avatar 1 was the only good movie. This movie is a disaster. Movie is very slow. Story is not good and it is boring.
Avatar was probably the biggest disappointment of all time, so much hype and yet the film was pretty rubbish and most importantly of all very boring.The technical achievement wasn't even that good because it actually looked much worse than a normal modern day animated film, rather than it being the technical triumph we were all told it was.
