"No, not Leo, he's kind of dry land kind of a guy." 😂😂😂🤣🤣 Love Kate's humour.
Hahah
Yes. Thank you Kate. Leo is definitely a No No for Avatar. Thanks 🙏
I would like it if he was in one of the movies but if he doesn't that cool.
@@eduschramel he could play one of the humans though. He has the range to play a good antagonist even
well next movie will be fire no water anymore....lol
Sam just LOVES making Zoe laugh, doesn’t he? I’m currently obsessed with their friendship ❤
Sam is an absolute awesome humble dude. I loved him playing Jake Sully, he was born for it. Zoe as always, impressive performance as the great warrior princess, Neytiri.
@@TG-Maverick22 if only matt damon doesnt reject the offer in the 1st time.. that would be a different story!
@@farrel_ra Agreed. It was fate.
I'm not. Not so much in this one but in several of their joint press events/talkshow visits, he was constantly talking over her.
@Farrel Rafi I'm quite glad he did tbh. I love Matt Damon but I just can't picture him for this role. Sam Worthington was just perfect for the role.
Bro every time Neytiri cried in both movies it felt so real and full of heart. I died every time.
She was able to give this raw, passionate and amazing performance I cried with her.
I cried every time😭 I felt her pain
I really wish to see them get interviewed in their avatars
That would be sick
omg that would be SO cool
Maybe by the time Avatar 3 or 4 comes in we'll have the technology to do that.
those interviews would cost millions lol
@@07.quanghuy49 True. Worth it! Hahaha
i love the parenthood parts. it's very well written. very touching and genuine performance.
Can't wait Cinema therapy channel react to it
As a mom I loved those scenes.

zoe's performace in way of water was my second favourite thing after the visuals. just raw emotion translating through the screen. i struggled with jakes character maybe because im not used to the idea of him being a father/protector but instead still the jake from avatar 1 who is lost in pandora.
That's the point. Being a father doesn't change who you are inside. He's still a 20s years old boy who is trying to do his best. My parents are 60s and 50s y.o and they feel like they are still young and lost sometimes, they're still learning
Yes that does sound fair jake seems he forgotten 🤔 about who he is yet continue changing himself with the farther hoods
@@arlenne8456 Jakes definitely not in his 20's, his oldest son is like 17
@@stareitpuebes8929I think it's a journey and he's just struggling with handling so much
@@royshavrick I know thats. fact about the journey yet he separated himself with his old clan was his choices the 3hrs movies would of have the forest and the water people working together if the director could ve come up the best scenes an yet Quaritich vengeance has some back up plan to be one of the rogue avatars I hear some where about after he s form his new body like what wow pass down his DNA then get back up was trippy then the original one
I was shedding tears for the whales.
The whaling scene and Loak and Sully being rescued by Payakan were scenes that got water flowing from my eyes.
The animal relationships are so beautiful in this movie.
Ditto, I was crying like a baby but tried to stay quiet because I was with my family lol- The part when Ronal went up to her tulkun and started crying, my tears were triggered again. The actors did a great job in making us feel emotions 🥲
lo'ak and sully? u mean lo'ak and jake?😭
same here 😞😞
I’m a big fan now of Sigourney when she said Kiri, her teenage character has an old soul. It parallels why Kiri is highly in-tuned with life forms in Pandora.
cant wait for the seed bearer! maybe is it Kiri, the "seed bearer"?
@@farrel_ra
Consider her mother died and I can't remember her being pregnant how did the kid come about.
One of the many plot holes.
Her real body died, not her Avatar. And they said they didn’t know why her Avatar was pregnant, clearly left that to be answered later.
@@exaygeetee9454 Someone mentioned Kiri is birth from a virgin miraculously - I believe Grace’s avatar was a virgin. Jesus was said to had birth from a virgin too… so perhaps Kiri is like Jesus with all the animals of Pandora gravitating towards her and could walk on water? I’m no Christian religion.
@@exaygeetee9454 It's not a plot hole. It's purposely mentioned and set up to be a mystery, obviously a journey for Kiri to go on. Wouldn't be nearly as interesting if it told us and she didn't have to grow as a character
Zoe’s acting has been consistently amazing in these films. Her mannerisms, cadence, squeals and scritches in her tone made me believe Na'vi were real (accompanied with the phenomenal CGI of course)
Stephen Lang’s such a great actor, you can tell how nice he is during this interview, and how he’s completely different once in character
When he appeared in the first movie in a tank top, man I want to grab them muscles!!!
I want to grab them with my own bare hands
He got me simping over him
It’s so sweet that they call him Slang. Team nicknames are so cute 💖
I didn't realise kiri's voice is Sigourney Weaver. When I was watching the movie I was so surprised at how the actress playing Kiri sounded so much like her I was super impressed lol it makes sense now 😂
I hope you understand that actress who played Kiri is Sigourney Weaver. She playing her, not voicing
Stephen Lang is the best actor in this. Like they said he's a real nice soft spoken man. But in the movie he's completely intimidating and hard nosed military guy. Plays it perfectly
I love how the casts love Stephen Lang. man he’s nicest.
I saw the movie and was blown away. But. I want to give a special shoutout. I never knew Sigourney was playing a younger girl until these behind the scenes moments. I thought it was a random new actress. Finding this out has really just... It's incredible. I am really so impressed with her performance.
I heard an old woman’s voice straight away. It kind of through me off. Wish they’d alter her voice more
@@venkall6306 i honestly didn’t surprisingly. i knew she played a kid but i had to look it up to tell it was kiri she played. which was odd cuz i thought i’d be able to tell her voice
@@venkall6306 didn't throw me off once
sigourney is such a legend
I've seen it 4 times now.
Can't stop the tears each time 😢
3 times here and going for the 4th soon
Me too gona go 3rd time!
Wanna go for 2nd time😊
I'm going for my second time, can't wait!! :')
I’m still need to go first time. Need to plan my 3 hours.
My favorite character out of the whole film ended up being Kiri. If Sigourney ever sees this comment, thank you! You did such a wonderful job and brought to life such an amazing character!
absolutely !
*And the fact that people (including me) can literally relate to her character is amazing.*
So refreshing to see a film that inspires filmmakers and storytellers, gives actors the chance to explain the process, I loved the film and have a new found respect for everyone involved.
C'mon the best part was the visuals who Cameron paid CGI experts to do.
The story was boring , practically the same movie as the 1st movie but more plot holes with the same bad guy.
Dialog was rubbish.
@@exaygeetee9454 Why is it an issue for you that someone enjoys the movie? It's far from the worst movie to even come out this year, it's worst sin is just being cliche.
@@kinka9883
Am I not allowed an opinion?
The 3D CGI was great.
The plot is weak with many holes.
If I hadn't had the glasses on it would've been total rubbish.
@@kinka9883 honestly I think this is just a troll who wanted Top Gun to be the best movie LOL
“I CUT”
that scene of Zoe going completely feral when she saw Quartich I felt that and I literally have no children lol
Wasnt just her, jake went apeshit too!
OMG that was chilling, and raw and you could feel her hate and her pain and her grief.
I was waiting for Kate Winslet to call out at the end:
"Jake, come back; Come back, Jake - look, there's a boat" 😂😂😂
Stephen Lang is so sweet I swear!! Although I hated his character in the first movie, I have to admit that I felt some sympathy towards his character Quaritch in the second movie. The actor, Stephen Lang is just legendary. I have no idea how he can become like Quaritch this well. The role was made for him! No one could play this difficult character better.
I really hope the next two films are a Quaritch redemption arc
It’s so good to see younger less known actors getting the recognition they deserve for their amazing performance in a masterpiece like this
When you watch interviews like this, you can really appreciate the magnitude of a project that James Cameron has taken on. Potentially 5 films over the space of god knows how many years!
For me as a fan to get so swept up in the franchise, it must be mad for him and their team to make them, dedicating so much of your time to the films
The fact that filming for Avatar 3 is completed already... And won't release for two years is crazy... The post-production work and attention to detail is nuts.
I went to rewatch it today.. the foreshadowing, the raw emotion, the facial expressions being conveyed within the CGI.. I’m SO obsessed
I never cried so much during a movie.
I don't wanna spoil anyone, so I'll just say too sad and too beautiful at the same time.
Oh yeah, it's a beautiful but also really sad film. It was really heavy.
I love your pfp I remember seeing it in it reminds me of Mortal instruments city of bones movie and I’m currently reading the book
7:10 Stephen Lang is so funny lmao
I can see Neytiri's smile when Zoe smiled
Kiri not only looks like Sigourney, you could also feel her charisma too. Amazing, since she is a CGI alien.
“Am I a weak puppy?” 🥺
😂😂😂
Bravo - this film was not only breathtaking to watch, but also deeply moving.
6:00 Hahaha it’s interesting to hear Jack Champion talk about walking bare foot cause that’s what I was worried the whole time watching the film like what if poor Spider stepped on a sharp object or something especially in the final battle when there are metal parts everywhere
It is so nice of Jack Champion to remain also unrecognizable on interviews like his costars are, even though he is the only one not to have an avatar in the whole movie.
Stephen Lang reminds me so much of my grandpa that passed away. Looks, voice, everything.
I like Spider idc what people say about him, he's just a kid that needs his family. Oh plus I love when Jack, Trinity and Bailey are togethe they're so funny lol
The plot is hinting towards spider being the next villian, i think that will be great.
@@rashakki hmm I don't think he's gonna go villain since cameron said that for the avatar 3 they gonna show avatar's negative side and human's positive side, so I hope Spider gonna play a big role there lol
@@eternalname oh i didnt hear that, in that case we can expect Avatars visiting earth as well. 🔥🔥
Spider was an interesting and round character but they didn’t do a good job of justifying why Neteyam and Lo’ak would risk everything to rescue him. And then when they did he wasn’t even thankful and instead rescued Quaritch. They needed a stronger actor imo to sell his internal conflict and to make him more likeable.
As someone who didn't care for the orgional as much. Even though I respect the technical effort involved in it. The way of Water felt like a superior effort.
Which says a great deal here given Cameron's already usually high standards. The world is breathtaking, and the underwater filming is on a completely different level.
3 hours wasn't long enough, which I can't believe i'm saying lol. 13 years is a long time to wait, but it was well worth the effort!! Cameron outdid himself this time around.
The cast was engaging and more grounded this time. I felt my time wasn't wasted & the impact of its message felt more direct and personal. This is how a sci-fi epic should be, and I will definitely be seeing it again before it's run ends. :b
I could see Leo playing a villain, like the new head of the Avatar program with his Calvin Candie persona
I could see him as a menacing shark creature that gets tamed by Kate.
When slang said what do they mean by that I almost lost it 😂😂😂😂
I think Leonardo DiCaprio would make an excellent human villain in the world of Avatar. I could imagine all his smugness in his role in Django Unchained put into a cooperate overlord.
Omg, you're so right!
I wonder if he could pull off a right-wing military villain.
He would but it would also take too much focus off of our main characters, just bc Leo is so well known and steals most scenes he’s in.
He should be the final boss
@@u_u8522 So is Kate yet there she is...
The scene where Ronal leaps out the water and stabs tf outta one of the rda guys… bloody amazing
Stunning visual, incredible imagination for screen written story, magical soundtrack, you have to watch in 3D and the best available sound system to appreciate it, MUST SEE, just astonishing
Jack Champion did great as Spider (my fav character). Stephan Lang seems like a nice, likeable guy in this interview, and yet in the movie he's a villain and I hated him; so, he's a great, great actor!
Can't help but wonder,
Since Zoe really loved her character and was deeply connected to it.
What was Kate's thoughts and impression of her character.
Bc you got to admit the character she performed as in the movie was sirusly beautiful.
most beautiful alien girl in movies of all times
Stephen Lang's so funny 😁

And that is wonderful because it resonates about the biggest TRUTH inside all of us.. the truth that we are Earth, we are all part of the same whole..and that we FORGOT that.
Astonishing movies
I'm loving it
The way she pulled that song off not burst into tears.
Im waiting Loak for an interview🥺
Incredible film!
If Leonardo DiCaprio accepts a part in the Avatar franchise, I bet he'd make sure to include a clause that would prevent his character to die by drowning. 😅
Great video!!! I love this Cast and this Movie!

Being a female with social anxiety I can definitely relate to Britain Dalton & I understand why he isn’t in most of the interviews but from seeing his character/acting skills he did an amazing job being a mini jake I loved it I was blown away by his performance😊💙.
this was an awesome movie
The blockbuster of the century💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
7 minutes 14 seconds under water is crazy!!
Leo is best left to the middle of the Atlantic in the Cameron-verse. Now if we could just get some cameos in this franchise with Michael Biehn, Jenette Goldstein, Lance Henriksen, and Robert Patrick then I don't think I'm alone in saying I'd be a very happy Cameron fan.
Lance would be amazing
Biehn was the OG choice for Quaritch but turned it down iirc
Are we getting Leo DiCaprio for Avatar 3?

I LOVE AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER
My favorite Na'vi word is prrkxentrrkrr because it looks like a really strange word to new learners and sounds even wilder and I love introducing people to it
14:30 this was perfect
The problem with having a big like Leo is that the antagonist spot is taken. Unless they give Quaritch a different path, something similar to that of Jaime Lannister. In that case, Di Caprio could be the big evil human ceo coming for all of Pandora goods, OR he could be the corrupted na'vi leader of the belligerant clan of fire. I would love to have Leo in the movies, but only if they are able to write for him an important character who doesn't outshine everyone else.
Awesome...!!!
I love that the main character was least capable of keeping up training in the movie 😂
Well he is a skxawng lol, I love his character
6:11 The Way Of water being mentioned!
