Can be difficult and stressful at first but one you get the hang of it it’s a breeze
Nice review. I was always surprised to hear you talk bad about the black trigger guns because it's worked great for me. And burlap is all I've ever used. Usually the only holes I get are from me rushing and being a little careless. But I appreciate your reviews because I need to get a backup gun incase the one I have stops working. I had got mine from tufttheworld but I'd kinda like to try a cheaper gun.
Yeah I guess each manufacturer set their guns up differently so I'll have to figure out how to make adjustments

I didn't really understand what you were saying
I think you need to adjust the other gun that is making holes. The needle should be behind the prongs at the front when fully retracted, when i got mine the needle was sticking out too far when retracted so i had to adjust it. The prongs press against the fabric so if the needle never fully retracts out of the cloth, when you move the gun it rips the cloth.

I do not know how to change out the gun
the factory settings on all these guns are 10 mm it needs to be adjusted to between 17 and 18 mm even that one in the box that's not working ,nothing wrong with the black trigger guns the red trigger ones were giving problems with the trigger breaking :)burlap is a cheap cloth not too good for tufting guns :)
Yeah I don't know how to change the settings so I just leave it alone.

I have that same gun and been using burlap. I have put a few holes but after I adjusted the scissors an used a little bit of a shorter cut an slower speed it seemed to stop putting as many holes. Also I noticed the slower the line the easier it is to put holes.
