    The edges to the left and right (9 and 3 o'clock) of the bottle basket allow you to lift the basket (or cage) out of the water to get bottle, if you don't happen to have a towel handy, FYI.
    Thanks for the informative video. 🙂

    Hello! Do you warm up a premixed bottle or just plain water and add the formula after it has been heated?

    When you clean it how long do you run it for before switching back to regular water

      I do not run the Papablic with the vinegar/water solution in it. I only let it sit on the hot plate (while it’s off) for a few minutes, then I pour it out. After a few minutes of the vinager/water sitting on the hot plate, it breaks up the limescale. Hope this helps! Thank you for watching!

      @@familyof5quicktips514 awesome I’ll have to pour it in there today and let it sit for a few!

    Do you not put the white scree lid and a disc on the top when you heat it up? Are you just pouring the milk in and leaving it open at the top when heating it up? 🤔

      That is a great question! We put the bottle together ready to use with the nipple on and sometimes the lid. If we just cleaned it out, then we would not use the lid to the bottle, but if it had been used many times then we might would put the bottle lid on to keep the nipple clean. Thank you for watching and for the comment! Have a fun rest of your day!

    Did can use the basket to pull the bottle out safely too.

      Good question Abigail. We mostly pulled the bottle out with a kitchen towel for safety and to dry it off at the same time. That worked for us.

    Our you using purified or distilled or tap water?

    • @familyof5quicktips514
      @familyof5quicktips514  Před 2 lety

      Amy, great question! We have been using tap water. However, I believe the instructions say that if you use distilled water then there should be limited residue to clean up. Thank you for watching and for the comment! Have a fun rest of your day!

    Does this one also sterilize bottles?

    • @familyof5quicktips514
      @familyof5quicktips514  Před 3 lety +1

      It is only a bottle warmer, it does not sterilize the bottles. Thank you for watching!

    Can i warm frozen breastmilk with it?

    • @familyof5quicktips514
      @familyof5quicktips514  Před 2 lety

      Shamael, that’s a really good question! The steps that we took in order to warm the breast milk that we froze, was first take out the bag of frozen milk, then let it thaw. Pour it into a bottle that you typically use and then we warmed it in the bottle warmer. It worked well!

    I dont know if it’s our water or what, but the water reservoir gets SO GROSS and gunky and I can’t scrub it because of the way it’s shaped, I can’t bend the straw cleaners to reach in there well. I soak it in vinegar for hours, but still it’s disgusting

      Oh no! Sorry to hear! Those tight places can be tricky! I have not done this, but I found a link that mentions using rice to clean the reservoir. Check out step number 6 and after! I hope this helps! Let me know if you try it! Thank you for watching!
