I really loved this routine regardless of whether or not Penn and Teller knew how it was performed. My favorite part was when you revealed your hand pushed through the mirror. I really wasn't expecting that and it completely sold the illusion. No idea how you pulled that off!
Nice combination of effects. Looks great and very entertaining. Once i saw the mirror and mount it was clear where the hole would have to be. Just had to cover or misdirect enough. Still played well to the audience.
@@djg5135 But this trick is a 100-year-old classic. Even amateurs know it. If you want to succeed at the "Fool Us" trick, you have to offer two or more false substitutions to set up a dilemma for Penn and Teller. If Penn and Teller make the wrong decision on the method, you get the trophy. Yes, it is possible to go into "Fool Us" with a known trick, but it must not be performed in a known way. That's advice for anyone wanting to perform in "Fool Us". :)
the part that fooled me is how he held up the cloth and it moved while both of his hands were holding up the cloth.. At first I thought it was a rod held behind the cloth but I didn't see any hand movement. great job :)
@@Durwood71 I mean cool, but that's just factually wrong. Let me be clear: I know *exactly* how this trick works. Anything else, just reread my original comment until you understand it.
@@Durwood71 lol. check out "secret process of machining flawless parts". Then come back and apologize. I don't know why you think everyone here is as mentally regarded as yourself.
@@htomerif Dude, calm down. You're going to give yourself a heart attack carrying around that kind of stress. The process you're referring to uses big, metal blocks with textured surfaces to help hide the seam, and even then, you can still see where the join is if you look carefully. It wouldn't work the same on a thin mirror.
The comments section is so nuts with trying to figure it out lol. All wrong answers. The mirror literally has a whole in it . The arm through shows the hole. All he does guys is roll the mirror to the left/right for the hole to go from the top to the bottom . It’s a well done trick but yeah …. Just a mirror with a hole in it and a favor to make every one loose their minds lol
Excellent trick, the key is the mirror, which is not a mirror, he actually used 243 iPhone screens to create the illusion of the mirror, but it's just a camera, he then projected his and and other things which were not real, just a good film and editing. Well done to you and your 245 iPhone screens anyway!
Loved to see Dan’s looking glass from smoky mountain magic. is a great effect
I miss Mrs American Pie! "This one time in band camp"
We all do, she was the real star of the show!
Really, really loved it.
superb stuff
Bravo! Great show!
Eine richtig schöne Routine. Gerade das Ende zaubert einem ein Lächeln auf's Gesicht. :) Danke für's Teilen!
This was such an amazing routine Cody ji👍🏻👌🏼 loved it🤍💙
Eine richtig clevere Idee und schön ausgeführt! ❤

Truly stunning - great work and very entertaining. xox
Excellent act! 👏
turned out pretty well!
Bravo merci Alphonse
amazing great trick and easy to do it .
Excellent work. A very practical illusion which packs small and plays big. There aren't too many penetration illusions out there any way.
Penetration illusion is how I would describe my last marriage
A wonderful brilliant performance my friend 👏👍👏😊
This was an awesome performance! 🎉

clear as crystal for me too. hole in mirror behind the solid part of the mount, above the second circle.
Great trick. The Zombie comment made me smile.
Alas, didn't fool me, and I am no magician. But amazing trick.
Nice coat and must be functional for your job 😊
Sehr schöne Routine Cody. Hat mir gut gefallen. :)
Really beautiful routine Cody. I liked it a lot. :)
Guys, don't give away the secret on the magician's own channel.
True, but I also think Penn could have been more discreet with his code. He gave it away for me to be honest.
It's all just smoke and mirrors, obviously.

Finally an act without cards!!! ❤
Wundergar! It fooled me!
great show but very simple magic trick
so what? gotta throw shade, eh.
was there a fake hand that appeared from the bottom of the mirror?
Nope
Penn's keyword gave away the secret.
If he had rotated the mirror to show that there was no door in the back that would have sold the effect.
@@JinKeethere is no door. The mirror could be spun around to show the other side.
this is one of those magic tricks that look way better in person. on camera its okay, but not nearly as mesmerizing.
I have to say that i saw quite right away how he did this trick. It's just a mirror.
typischer deutscher name :D
I feel like machining is good enough now that you could do this without the stand or so that you could remove the mirror from the stand at the end.
The trick would be impossible without the stand.

@@htomerif It would not be possible to seamlessly plug the hole. It would be obvious even from the back row.

Spanking it to Brooke was way easier on the travel show
