I believe that the BV350 does replace the BV250, 300, & 500. Go to their website. It's the only BV left as a model. Last year Piaggio had some of the older model BVs on their website, including the BV500, but they had already quit manufacturing them. They were on the website just to help dealers sell out old dealer stock.
It makes sense to me. It's nearly as fast, longer service interval, better mpg, and is a good compromise for that size of scooter.

1:29 The rear wheel is 14", not 16", hence the storage (like the Scarabeo).
2:01 Piaggio had linked brakes 10 years ago on the X9.
4:31 BV500 had (and still has) 7hp more.
4:45 It IS faster up to about 60mph then the BV500 and it does not replace it.

The difference in performance between the 300 and 350 is huge.

Found rumors about a Vespa 350 GT Rally (2014 model), with a 2013, spring-time production start that was supposed to be shown at the Milan EICMA show in November but couldn't find where the new design was shown at the event.

I went to Piaggio UK website. They too have only one Beverly listed, and it's the Beverly Sport Tourer, which is the 330 cc power plant. Just for kicks I went to the UK Vespa site and the Aprilia site. No 330 there either, but I've seen on a forum where a new design Vespa was leaked with the new 330 cc.

Well, 5years later there's no new 330 engine and certainly no new vespa with a new 330 engine!

I'm surprised that Piaggio did not redesign at least one Sport City, Scarabeo, or Vespa with the new 330 cc motor for 2013. Or, maybe I thoughts we might see the Piaggio X10 in the States. It seems like they could save costs by quickly phasing out and replacing all 250s, 300s, and 400s with the new 350 engine. But of course, this may require all-new designs and retooling every factory, which is very costly.

i just found out about the PMP application and bluetooth module available for certain models.
I know the BV350 2013 isn't listed, but does it have the proper connector for the harness. Has anyone just for grins, plugged the module into said connector to see if it works!!!
I know it says it works only with abs models. But is there a chance where a bulk of the info work, but certain features don't like traction errors.

How long until we see this engine transplanted into a vespa frame? Soon I hope!

I want this bike sobbad, is there any other scooter that compares to this one, far as year and model?

+blackistheword7 For this displacement and style, the only other name-brand that comes to mind is the Kymco People 300 GTi. 16" wheels front and back, modern design, 300cc engine. Only downside is that they stopped offering that model in the states a few years back, so you'd either have to find one used or some old inventory laying around, though it's not rare. Parts are easy to come by since the scooter is still made & sold overseas. Damn shame the US never got a whiff of the SH300i from Honda; we only ever got the 150 variant and only for one year. Big wheel scooters just don't catch on in the states.

+blackistheword7 Actually, there is one I missed: The SYM Citycom 300i. I don't know much about SYM, but I know others stand behind them in similar fashion to Kymco. It's still being sold new here in the States, so no hunting around for used or left-over inventory compared to a People 300 GTi. Seems like a nice alternative to look into.

Please, please, please install this motor in the Vespa frame! This BV looks too Japanese and I don't like the refuel set up. Tonka toyish. My 250 GTV is always fun to refuel, splashing all over whatever might be in the pet carrier. Like the Germans, the Italians always fall short with something. Nearly perfect, but always something.......
