    I've always wanted to post those tiled pictures, but I was afraid cuz I had a friend that would separate his picture with a white board in between them. And everytime I was scrooling I'd fall on not one, but 3 blank posts from him and it was so annoying. This is a really neat trick! I'll definetely give it a shot.

    Why do we need to wait a couple of days before posting the last photo? Also, if I do this with a 6 or 9-panel photo, do I only need to wait a couple of days before posting that last slide?

    • @arkhenaten8954
      @arkhenaten8954 Před 2 lety +1

      Because if you post the last pic immediately the other two pics won’t be there so it won’t look right on your page… and you have to wait a couple days before un-archiving the other two otherwise they will show up on peoples feeds and the whole process is pointless. And yes it’s the same process regardless how many photos you post.

    2024 Update: You can just select the option to 'post directly to profile' when making the post - this way it will not show in peoples main feed.

    • @almostaustin
      @almostaustin  Před 4 lety +4

      This was a interesting choice of video to post this on, but I do. Keep asking people to only speak German to you - be persistent and communicate that it is because you want to learn. Something else you can do is start listing to German podcasts and always have them in your ear. Easy German is a good one, so is Gemischtes Hack.

    Hi, I don’t know if you’re still active on CZcams but it would be really nice of you to answer this in case you are: so I have prepared a giant poster of 12 (3x4) pictures which all need to be posted today because today the finale of the series it’s for released. Anyway, could I apply the same technique to those 12 pictures? So posting the first 11, Archive them, post the 12th and then show everything back?

      it's just part of the joke, people might judge you for spamming them but most people don't care

    • @almostaustin
      @almostaustin  Před 4 lety +7

      Haha. No, wait.... This was not a joke. Waiting 2 days ensures that when photos are un-archived, that they show up so far down on everyone's feeds that they won't be noticed. It's only a suggestion if you don't want to annoy people with having three photos from you on their timeline. Of course, having someone post three photos at once does not bother everybody, but I for one don't like very much, so I just wanted to share a solution for people who currently do it or would like to in the future.
