So many flailing arms in this one! 😂Are you using an app to plan your Instagram feed?
No, never ever thought of using a planning app. Like DUH!! RIGHT! thank you for this vlog! 👌😘
You should post those AMAZING PICTURES OF NY on your feed. But I see you have OCD. LOL
I've had good luck using hootsuite and later. Need to get more in the habit of actually keeping up with it. You wouldn't realise at first, how much work actually goes into curating a feed.
I use Lightroom mobile for initial curation, editing and to lightning fast transfer to my phone. Then I use Preview to see them "In-grid". It's amazing how much context can change an image.
I use Unfold for my stories. I'm a casual user but it seems to do the job well enough for me. Oh, and x2 respect multiplier for continuing to use words other than hack. Love it. More professional, less clickbait. :)
Love these ideas for a consistent Instagram grid! It's all about that visual appeal, right? I've been experimenting with boost app social lately. It's pretty cool for crafting bios and captions that match my feed's vibe.
Totally vibing with that app! Makes everything so much smoother on my end. Keeps the IG hustle real!
When shots don't match, group them in a carrousel. Make sure the first image matches. Or share on stories 💁
Yeah , osm idea
Thank you♥️
Perfect solution!
group them in a carrousel as in?
@@simran5145 when there's more than one pic in a post.
👏🏽 nicely done!
Thanks so much!
Absolutely love the hints of warm in the dark and moody images .. aesthetic and how !
5 reasons why I love / hate Becki - Her relaxed demeanor, her obsession to her aesthetic, her God given gift, her organizational skill, and how she makes it look so darn easy. FAVORITE CZcamsr
Chris Floyd 😭🙏🏼💙
Becki and Chris 😍
I liked the video, just a good tip for anyone curious about keeping a consistent feed while changing up the style, tone, or color's is making a subtle transitions with each post. Peter McKinnon has a really good video on how he dose it with the changing sessions (ie. Fall to Winter)
Just thought I would leave a comment bc while keeping photos consistent feed is important it's nice to change it up.
I think the most important is the color that we choose in our feed on Instagram. Each seasons have a certain color theme & sometimes I goof off on the color theme of the season because I see some new content but different colors. Thus why I love the color theme of you guys becki&chris! It appeals my eye in much calmer & touch of modern!
OMG who else struggles with this?! Posting consistently while keeping those tones in check. 😬
That’s what brought me to this video. Like how!?
You could always start to introduce purples, and oranges to your regular shots then slowly make the transition to the sunset shots then do the reverse to go back to the regular colour scheme. Could look pretty nice on the feed and serves as a way to add colour without breaking the aesthetic
I found your channel few days ago and i really love your videos. The way you edit them, the energy, colors, shots, everything is so on point. I can't imagine how much work it takes to create those. Cheers!
Your phots legit have my favourite look of anyone on Instagram, I love that grey look.
someone finally made this video. THANKYOU been struggling so much with flow on insta
Can’t wait to get into this one!! Consistency in editing is so difficult sometimes but your grid definitely is all looking amazing and consistent
It is a challenge for sure but so fun!
Thank you for sharing! LOVE your aesthetic! sooo pleasing to look at!
I don't want to constrain myself to one color scheme, but I want consistency, so I came up with the following: I started creating and posting 9*9 thematic puzzles, so only each puzzle is consistent and the next one has its own personality. But I still try, when going from one puzzle to the other, to make the transition smooth.
Can you share your insta page so i can check? I also don't want to stick with one theme
Totally agree! You crushed this. So true, it's hard to transition between seasons
Great video 👍🏻 just print an album of your favourite shots evey year, keep those for yourself and watch your improvements across the years 🧡 keep up the great work!
Thank you Becki! Love these tips, have needed a bit of a push lately and wasn't sure what to do. ♥
Use insta stories to use the photos that don’t match your feed! Use highlight covers to still keep consistent, but I say have a theme to your insta stories too
Hi! Recently I'm planning to start to use Instagram in a more organized way. Thank you for your tips!
Maybe, when we have a beautiful photo that we want to share but it doesn't match with the grill, as in your case, we can use Instagram Stories so we still sharing it or even for longer using Highlight for every style.
I just loved the intro. Probably one of the best intros I've seen recently on yt. 😍😍
Something that I have been liking as far as the consistency topic is being consistent over say 30 shots and then moving to a new theme that gets its own 30 shots. Treating it like collections.
Oh God, Thank God for this Video! I so needed to hear those first 3 points! I am literally S*** at planning! Thanks Becki!
Your Instagram aesthetic is always so perfect
Becki! You're always my source of inspirations! Now I want to strategize my INS feed with a more holistic point of view... I was also attempting to incorporate my fav color 'purple' into all my creations but found it hard to make anything really shine with this concept behind. It's a difficult color despite the fact that I love it! After watching your video, now I am thinking to try some purple presets to utilize my feed and ultimately make that my style! Will report back. ❤Love, Jerri
Lol Great tips! You literally crack me up every time. Fave channel by far.
I just love you guys and vibe. I'm a subscriber and a follower 😁
this was just what i needed! hahaha thx for sharing the downside of having a matching feed!
Your personality made me smile 😊
Thanks Becky ! I just arrived in France country to visit my family, your video motivate me to go out and photograph !
Awesome Video! I've been struggling with my business instagram so can't wait to use these tips!
Thanks for the tips, I found it really helpful as long as you talked about matching colors in a shot !
My one and only inspiration! Just awesome, thank u!🤗❤️
Great tips for maintaing consistent theme on IG, very helpful! Tip 3 is my favorite. 😉
can't believe im watching this a few days after changing my hair colour to blue. lol. u killed it damn
I got to say, the intro alone made me subscribe. Great advice in the video. Great looking channel!
Why did I watch this while I’m at work?! Now I have to laugh silently haha. Thank you for your great tips!
I know they help alot!
Consistent is key. Those tips are really great!
I get anxiety if I bump into color coordinated consistent feed
Very very nice video thanks, first video that actually helped !
hi becki great video your passion for making beautiful photos came through in vivid detail
UGH your last point really got me!!! I shot amazing photos of a sunset in the desert but since my feed is kinda dark i couldn't post them... So frustrating 😂 Oh well we still got the stories for that
This is the best Instagram Tips I watched so far. But I need a Part 2 please. How to decide which IG Theme to use? Was there a guide? Color coding rules when shooting something?
Great great video. I just wished instagram comes out with feature where you can rearrange your feed. How cool would that be 😍. Have a great day guys
Kunal Tewari that would be dope!!
in regards to tips one and two - i compile a ton of images and use apps to automate publishing to IG. frees up time for other tasks
That is some dedication and it looks great!
Especially the own style is really important! But I totally understand the downside of a consistent grid. Thats my biggest mistake :D
Thank you for answering my question and making a video about it. It was dam helpful!
I made a similar video and used you guys in an example! Then i binged your page and saw you ad this video! Thats so funny1 Love ya guys1
What I would do to have that Becki and Chris Insta feel 😍 love this Becki!
Love the music in this intro. I once listened it like 10 times.
Love the video! This is amazing
Love this video. You the goat becki
Man I just love this stuff!!
Loving these tips ✨
Yet another deadly video full of exciting ways to step up your game 😊😊 Unless you guys have already done this and I have just missed it, any chance on making a video on how you create you favorite presets in LR? I love a dope preset, but would also enjoy learning how to create my own.
I shoot mostly black and white and didn't like when I had a random color image to throw in and make the feed seem sloppy. So, I decided on a sort of "rule of thirds" posting approach. I have to have at least three of either b/w or color posted before moving on to the other. It helps it feel organized. I often post six or nine b/w to every three color, but those strips of color feel intentional.
Might help with those moments of having epic skylines that don't match!
I love this idea 🤩. I am currently struggling with my new business Insta account to get the feel I want to convey but think it might be too stark. Sooo back to the drawing board 👍🥰💕
Love the energy!!
Some people call it consistent and some people call it OCD
It’s all perspective
Loved the entire video! :) Thank you!
I struggle really hard with this. I chalk it up to only being 2 years in the game. I'm still experimenting with tons of portrait styles and looking for what I like the most + learning new skillsets (studio vs outside, even lighting vs dramatic shadows, tons of color vs desaturated, BW vs any color at all). It frustrates me to try to keep some sort of consistent grid because of this. There's just so much to photography that it's hard to stick to one look just for the sake of a feed/brand :\
Very helpful! Thank you! And yeah... I think my biggest problem is that I want to show people how beautiful the place was, or the original colors and all.. but yeah.. gotta choose.
Perfect video. Great tips. Highly appreciate it!
I'm a big fan of your color aesthetic.. would totally get a LR preset. Cause Monochrome is my jam
I seriously need to work on my instagram and actually shoot intentional shots for it. I need to do these tips, thanks!
Good video! I have been several time deleted some photos and put it again but I'm not sure about my feed, I love the ocean and sunsets but sometimes those sunsets are so beautiful but too strong in colors.
Amazing videos guys! Keep it up
6:35 Hey look it's me!
Also bonus tip, a super easy way to get a more consistent look in your feed is creating a checkerboard pattern by alternating light and dark images. It's especially useful when you're still trying to develop a style or theme, as it just helps tying everything together!
AronBagel oh that’s a deadly tip!
Love the Video!! Your insta looks amazing!😍😍😍
Thank you!
WHY DIDN'T CZcams RECOMMEND ME YOUR CHANNEL BEFORE? YOU ARE AMAZING 😍
Lovley video guys 🤘❤️
2020 and I just found your chanel!! love ti!!!!
Yes! Actually fist pumped the air seeing your upload. Notification squad! Also you guys are just awesome humans...from a fellow human. :D
YESSSS!!
I noticed the Voigtlander camera @3:01, very cool. I have one that I inherited from my father. It was his retirement gift his men gave him when he retired from the Army back in 1967. Sadly I haven't really used it as it is totally manual everything. Need to find someone to school me on its use and features.
Do you find that it can inhibit your creativity sometimes tho? Like when you go out and shoot you find yourself not shooting something because it doesn't match?
What you can do with the sunset picture is first to put the one that matches your feed and then post the original one next to it (in a carousel)
Very nice tips, thanks for sharing!!!
I constantly post things and immediately take them down because my OCD for a consistent grid theme gets the best of me every time 😟 I’ve tried a couple grid planning apps, but never “unum.” I’m excited to give it a shot! Thank you for the video!
same. 😓
As always love the visuals! I want you to come design my office but that is crazy so please do a photo book or design book! I have taken your tips for my business Instagram.
Great tips. Have an amazing Tuesday, Andreas 🇸🇪
I feel same for such beautiful photos. And now i'm going to get rid of maintaining aesthetic look. Gonna post whatever i feel right!
YES! Need this!!
Really like this kind of videos.. I learned a lot 👍
Thank you for this very informational video . definitely helped me with my business instagram account !

You make me smile!
This was very helpful 💚
1:24 - Wait wait wait... You and Chris have a relationship OUTSIDE of social media? 😀😀😍
Isn't that obvious?
they're already married bruh hahahah
Bulk shooting!! OMG it's so simple and yet I never thought of it. This has really helped me out so thank you. Oh, double tapping the space bar doesn't add a period on a MacBook keyboard. Kbye x
Dan Walls right??? Will save you so much time!!
oh becki your simply the best
Hey there! Nice little video about Instagram Aesthetic! You know what stands out with your video? You're saying to have fun right out the start! Now, may I ask a question?
you're so dope 💕 thanks for this vid
Haha Becki "if your bent like me" bahah in Australia that means your stoned. Love it! Never change 😉
Awesome video!!!
Great advice! I have a few different accounts for different types of photography. My aviation photography account is pretty good, but my drum account doubles as my main personal account as well, so it’s a bit of a mish-mash.
the struggle of matching colors on the feed is something real gosh AJJAJAJJA
Thanks for the tips!!!
Tip #2 Bulk Shoot. Thank you. I've been struggling thinking that I need to be timely with posts. Why? I don't know. Now, with your permission, I'm changing my entire approach to (Instagram) life.
Tom Dixon that’s the biggest thing that makes the most difference!
Thank you so much for this tips
