- Andrea had a very special dance with some very close family and friends at her wedding. Her father passed away so her brother recored "butterfly kisses" and she danced with all of them during her Father and Daughter dance. it was a truly touching moment not a dry eye in the house.
Her dad, Mark, died earlier in the year from pancreatic cancer. Andrea's first dance is with Mark's father, followed by her brother Luke, then brother Nick and finally her new father-in-law Scott.

You know she is proud.. don't think for one moment she isn't aware of whats going on in your life. I think she would be proud you persevered after her death. The best thing you can do to honor her is to live a wonderful and full life. Every mother wants that for her child.

This beautiful song Butterfly Kisses hits home for me. My dad committed suicide when I was 17. The last time I saw him was at my sister's wedding. When I got married I had my uncle dance with me for the father and daughter dance as my grandfather passed away as well. I miss my dad so much that it hurts every time I hear this song that I cry so hard especially while watching and listening to this video. What a beautiful rendition this was. What a beautiful voice he has. I love singing this song because it reminds me of my dad.

My heart goes out to this family for their loss during a very special time in this young lady's life. Can't believe it's been so long since this happened.
I'm sure she never forgot this special gift her brother gave her that day.
It is a privilege to watch a family supporting each other. All the men in a woman's family cannot replace a father but that isn't the point. The point is that they take quiet dignified turns to show her that they love her and acknowledge her loss. There are so few things we can do to change the bad things in life but caring for each other is one of them.

My Dad wasn’t there at my wedding. I didn’t get to have a Father Daughter Dance. Mike Horton a coworker of my Dad’s. He walked me down the aisle and danced with me. He died last year in a carjack shooting. He was 70 years old. Thank you Mike. You and Julie were good parents to me.

I think I commented on this a few years back about how I could only imagine how she was feeling. Now I know how she's feeling. 💔 The emotion in this video is still one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking things I've ever seen. ❤️

When I was married at 21, my Father & I didn't have a great relationship, although he walked with me in the Church & "gave" me away, I was a very shy person, embarrassed to dance at the reception & chose to have only the bride/groom dance & delete the father/daughter dance. My Father died 3 yrs. later. I can't even imagine how hurt he must have been to have me delete the father/daughter dance. He never said anything, but I know! That wedding was 34 yrs. ago & it still haunts me that I could have hurt him that much. If I could have him back for 5 minutes, I would tell him how sorry I was & ask him to dance with me. I was so young then & didn't even think about it, what a fool! I had the chance & blew it! Some people don't get the chance! I love you Dad & I'm so sorry! I walked my Daughter down the aisle, but we never had a Father/Daughter dance. It was never exactly planned, so it never was announced and we didn't dance.
To this day I think about it every now & then. I don't know that my Daughter (Bridget) does. I can only guess it wasn't that important to her, as we never spoke of it.
She was our first born, and I was on top the world when she was born. I really don't know that she realizes how much I love her. I'm 81 now, and at my age one thinks (a lot) about all the

10 years and 364 days ago I lost my dad to cancer. After all these years, the thing that hurts the most is the thought of him missing out on major milestones. This is so heart breaking but also so beautiful to see her family coming together to help her through this difficult time.

I lost my Dad to cancer when I was 11yrs old. When I got married, I chose not to have dancing at yhe reception because I couldn't dance with my dad, who was the one who taught me how to dance when I was just a lttle girl. This is beautiful and heartbreaking, and I am balling missing my own daddy.

So beautiful a beautiful brother...... Your daddy would of been so proud of you both...... My heart broke into a thousand pieces when in saw your brother cry....... And when you instantly cried..... I cried a million a tears....... I lost my wife and three beautiful children..... They all gave me butterfly kisses.... And I miss them all every second of every day...... But I know I've lost them forever......... Just pray to God I will hold them all in.........,.... Heaven.....
I lost my father almost exactly a year ago and last spoke to him on Father's Day. My uncle has since stepped into a much more fatherly role in my life. This beautiful video really got to me.

I'm a single child n now have 6 kids.. 4boys n 2 girls... I have already picked this song now for my oldest daughter wedding. She cried when she heard this.. I can only hope that her brothers are anything like this.. what a perfect brother n son n father. Well done
I lost my dad in 2011 from a stroke and my dad will not be here to walk me down and dance to me , I am sorry for your lost and your dad is very proud of you like mine is . Life is so precious.

It's been tough for me for 5 years
Coming up and when I hear mine and his song and this one I cry because I give anything again to dance with him again .
That makes me sad especially since recently my relationship with my dad hasnt been to good, and i really take him for granted. do you have someone you would dance with in "replace" of your father?
I wish some times I can say I am sorry the way i treat him i get so mad at him . And yes I do my adopted brother who is my best friend , and my cousin who is walking down and dance with me I am going to get all the guys and my father in law dance with me I miss my dad when I first seen this I cried .
