I remember watching this match. Back then it used to feel India will never win against Pakistan, we had lost 9 matches in a row. In fact, that period of disappointment motivated a lot of fast bowlers here to hone their craft. I started reading about the fast bowling culture in Pakistan, how it developed, the role of tape ball cricket. Its fascinating. I really hope India-Pakistan cricket resumes again. International cricket is no fun without India Pakistan!

Same goes for the Pakistani people and their government too. Our problems are NOT going to be solved through war or not playing cricket with each other. Instead, we have to force our governments to find a diplomatic solution. By hating each other, we are only going to perpetuate the problem.
