Great video I’ve looked at all these products and am trying to upgrade from my ancient equipment! This info will help!
yep lots of choices out there. Let us know if you have any questions.
what a great overview of cooking gear! I have the blackstone and break it out whenever there's a lot of people on the trip..otherwise it stays home! Keep up the great content!
Thanks!! the blackstone is awesome for groups. i use the half gen if its just me. we love your adventures!!! safe travels!!
So many great options. I’m a coffee snob but I love that French press option
Great job Dana
your backyard is amazing. please do a tour...
LOL thanks. just had a gate and a gravel drive put in so I could store more stuff.
The Coleman stove accepts pretty wide cast iron if you clip the side wing all the way out to first notch.. easily a twelve inch. As for flame control I can get a simmer. I can get the flame so low a gentle breeze could take it out.
Great video! Clearly you have experience of all these products. Loved hearing about your cooking methodology progression throughout the years.
Yep my wife knows her gear and how to use it. I've got the extra lbs to prove it..lol
We have a Camp Chef stove/griddle, 17” Blackstone, Skottle and a Jetboil. Still occasionally use a Dutch oven over the fire too sometimes. Like them all but experimenting what works best. Cooking when camping is one of the best parts of camping.
yep we are always on the lookout for the best all around cooking systems. we love cooking on the oldie but best over a camp fire!! happy 🏕
For electric cooking check out the new Stokes Voltaic cooking system. Can't wait to try it when I get mine. For now I like my blackstone . Great video
Thanks ill check it out. Love the blackstone for breakfast!!
great video ❤
Thanks!! Took forever to get made. Hope it helped.
Awesome content!! I have two main ways of making coffee whilst camping. The lazy and quickest version is boiling water and using the VIA instant micro ground coffee (Starbucks has the VIA name but there are other brands out there using this same principle) I just dump one or two packets in my Stanley, add the water about a minute off boil, stir and sip. The other way is boiling the water (I also use a Jetboil and MSR) then using whatever pre ground beans I bring along. I use an ESPRO 32oz french press. It's double filtered and is double walled and makes EXCELLENT french press coffee. There are tons of french presses out there but my ESPRO can go from the campsite to the kitchen counter and is very durable. For the price it better be, but like all this equipment, it's an investment.
I love both ways!!
what are those black things bolted on to you jeep doors where they mount?
hey, those are fold down steps, so we can get to the top rack.
"Overlanding" is just a silly word for car glamping.
Lol
