@notoffroading I also have the apl55 that rides in our other tundra in the alu cabin and love it. I would look at the space you have for it, how long your trips will be, and how much food/drinks you want. For example , we had the 75 lit. I loved it but was just too big for our space and travel. We down sized and just stopped more to fill back up. For our new rig (fourwheel camper), which has a built-in fridge, we just want a small dual zone for drinks and meats/ ice cream..etc..

@@OverlandTrailsAdventures thanks for the fast reply! I have room for both, I like that the apl35 is lighter but love the capacity for the 55. I'm doing a trip to Utah for 2 weeks so that's why I'm thinking the apl55 is the way to go but ultimately I wouldn't mind the 35

@notoffroading with that info, I'd go for the apl55, on the slider. Sounds like you won't be as happy with the 35. The 55 is a better trip fridge for what your doing anyways.

@@drewpknutz1410 it worked well with our jackery 500. I would recommend going with a 1000 model.

It is a 1 owner 24 Tundra Limited with the TRD off-road package. No maintenance so far. upgraded the suspension to manage the weight. thanks!

Hey thanks! It really depends on how long you run your vehicle. If you run the fridge on normal and drive 5 or 6 hours it should maintain a decent charge. We need to upgrade to a 1000 just to be safe.

Hhmm ive never had an issue with charging up in the driveway testing but I didn't put a meter on it either.

Hey, great question. The APL 35 is still in "launch," so it is not generally available yet. I'm not sure when it will be GA. I have the APL55 as well and love it. If you're looking for a good-sized standard dual-zone for your trips, I would go with the APL 55. If you're looking for a smaller form factor, then the APL35 might fit your needs.

hey, great question. I got a short garden hose from Lowes and some connectors to switch male to female as needed.

@alpinetactics it's been good but on the brink. Can't put any more weight on the back so limited on how we can use the rack.

Hey the default settings on battery protection are good.

Hey thanks.. it's a 5lbs power tank holder and the four rubber spacers came with the rack.

@@OverlandTrailsAdventures gotcha. Did you just attach the power tank rack with pipe clamps/ straps? I bought my rack second hand so I didn’t get any of those. Thanks.

@@Papa__Squatch one of the options with the tank holder is some really cool pole clamp brackets.

It's a pretty good memory foam-style mattress. If you have an REI near you id recommend going and testing one out before you buy.

hey great question. One of my next tests is power consulting. Just got my new power meter in!!

@@OverlandTrailsAdventures I did a decent test last summer where I ran my fridge inside the Jeep to see how many days it lasted without recharging. Took a bunch of screen shots and recorded the temp every hour on the hour. I never put the info together in a more digestible form but it was a fun test.

We run the exped duo in our alucabin. It's good but getting the air right is a pain. That's why we switched to the hest.

The tube that goes into the last step where the hook goes into it keeps coming out on mine. Maybe I just got a bad one.

@Stranger451 on the right side you can open the zipper and on the left you can peel back the velcro a little and it snugs down in the groove.

Great question!! We operate our approach to gear like Kevin from Lifestyle overland. Two is one and one is none. In this case if a panel goes out, you can still operate with one. Same on our new build (four wheel camper hawk) we put 2 200-watt panels.

It can just depend on what you're doing.

Hey great question. With 10lbs tanks you don't swap you just got them refilled. And with refilling you get an actual full tank. But you do have to make sure the sensor is moved to the tank your using becausebibhave several
