there’s honestly something so amazing about hearing someone who sounds the same live as they do in the studio. for FJM i honestly think he sounds better live
Him forgetting his lyrics is pretty ironic considering the subtext of Pure Comedy. Love this man and seeing him make that mistake and keep rolling made me love him all the more. He's one of us soulful predators too.

There are so many lyrics on this masterpiece of a record I often wander how he recalls them all. FWIW saw him perform Leaving LA live and he didn’t miss a note or word.
Here I thought I was the only one that forgot where I was in my own songs! This is still so brilliant! I’m thankful for finding FJM recently, I was really ready to give up.
