- The word was that it would be an elegantly casual affair. The colors were gold and beige. A garden party where every one mingled having a good time. Speakers would address the audience from whereever they were. At some point in time the couple would emerge and get married.
"Devon House East buzzed into activity.The serving tables were laden with food. There were Two Bars one as you entered and the other with 'top of the shelf' liquors. There were few cocktail tables and not enough chairs for everyone. It would be standing room only, for many over the next several hours and the FAB FIVE BAND WAS IN THE GARDEN. RUMOR HAD IT THAT DK WOULD SING WITH THE BAND.
BY 5.30 PM IN THE SATURDAY AFTERNOON OF JANUARY 21, 2012 M.C.
RICHARD FLETCHER WELCOMED EVERYONE(Mostly stars from the 70's), GAVE HIS DEFINITION OF A COUGAR" AND CALLED ON FAMILY MEMBERS TO MAKE THEIR OPENING REMARKS BEGINING WITH SARAH MANLEY.
