For those who dont know, Dean Dill had the honor and the pleasure of giving private Magic lessons to Johnny Carson in Johhny's Malibu,CA home back in the mid to late 90's before Johnny passed away. Seriously!
@@JakeMabe1 he may have started doing magic when he was younger but dean dill is in fact actually one of the few magicians who really taught Carson magic in person outside of books and vhs tapes Johnny had dean over his house for years they were very close
It's a beautiful routine and I wish the director wouldn't have put that camera on him at that moment, because that was a flawless performance of a gorgeous routine and I'd rather just be fooled by it.
nice, 17 years. I dont do it professionally or practice much anymore but a great routine can still entertain me if done flawlessly. Doesn't matter if you know the moves if you can't see them. Dean Dill was an amazing illusionist.
A friend took me to a barber shop in Glendale and this guy Dill was cutting hair and doing magic. He was farting so badly, everyone in the shop had to go outside for air.
RIP, Dean. Magicians recognize that you were one of the best ever. You had the "light touch" with coins.

Folding the card back up and asking if somebody had another orange backstage had me laughing hysterically.
That is excellent magic.
The two people that don't like this must lead sad lives.
Thats dedication to a skill I cant fathom.
Dean Dill and Johnny Carson were close friends. Dean Dill was actually one of the few magicians that taught Carson how to do magic.
@BroskyWhoDatedHoski Carson got started doing magic as a teenager in Norfork, Nebraska.

This guy has a mesmerizing voice.
Wow! I was just watching a tribute show about him from the Magic Castle! He is really great!
Dean is a true master!
That's amazing.
Excellent slight of hand. Love the 4 corners trick.
Dean is amazing!
Flawless !
I am a shell of my former self after watching that coin trick. I'm glad I forced myself to watch the card trick.
I saw what you did there. Dude do you even double lift?
benching 145 lbs!! with John Cornelius spotting. @@Trickboy36
Ya brother.... got my bench up to 118 lbs. But I must admit John Cornelius was spotting me. Did you see what I did there?@@Trickboy36
Excellent Sir ❤🙏🏼☠️....From INDIA....
OMG!!! Dean was my barber when I was a teenager. He did a little magic in the shop sometimes. Dean, Russ and Jeff were the barbers 💈
Barber with a mullet, you don't see that everyday
amazing
@1:22 - You can hear him drop the third coin behind the card.
Wow 😮
this was well done. humor and good tricks. usually both dont go together at all.
Carson was a magician
Rip dean man I miss that guy
I wish Mr Dill knew how good he was.
Dean Dill mentored Chris Angel.
Yeah, we're all impressed, name dropper.
It's a beautiful routine and I wish the director wouldn't have put that camera on him at that moment, because that was a flawless performance of a gorgeous routine and I'd rather just be fooled by it.
I've been a professional illusionist for the past 17 years. And you couldn't be more correct.

Are those Ten (Three) of Spades a dealer item?
Does anyone know?
Can you dont like this? Is marvelous.

Who was farting?
Some cat named Biro. Dill the barber just cutting hair outside. Very talented fellow. Strong with our Lord. #respect
Wait, what happened to Louis Bellson!
He did flash on the orange trick though...bad camera angle.
huh... was the vanishing done with r&s material? If he p... it away, I am stunned not so see the move. Nice routine!
I'm pretty sure he used a short card force. The short card was attached to the force card, this hiding it. The short end enables him to stop at it.
Card and coin matrix
Miss Mr Carson
Nicely done ᵔᴥᵔ ★★★★★

It is very easy to force a card when using riffles to choose cards like he did. Nothing he did would fool Penn and Teller, it's all standard stuff.
LOL at 4:19
Why's it always an orange ?
There has to be a reason he wears his shirt cuffs like that.
Ole John loved magic.....and blondes. If he could get a blonde to do a wee bit o' magic in his bedroom, He's a happy feller.
i met him once.
From watching this I understand how the coin trick is working.
It's old and not too hard to figure out.
wow the first trick is basically the same as ryan hayashi :O
The first routine is actually one of the most famous ones ever known xD
Saying that is the same that ryan hayashi does is a little bit belittling
How to boil an egg
RİP :(
i like him better than david roth :))lol
2:26....puts the melted coin back into his left hand....

Geez the patter is so 1980s... cringy
You are wrong. The patter is not "1980s.". And it's not "cringy." It's excellent magic. What's wrong with you?
