so far i am a big fan of this podcast..fl studio has pretty much turned into a full time job for me over the past 2 years so i am glad there is finally a podcast based on strictly fl. One thing i think would make it better is visuals that pop up on screen of what ever topic of the daw that yall are talking about...i think that would be better for the viewer and your guys as well..just a thought. but i would like to say you guys are doing a great job so far and am thankful there is finnally a fl podcast....peace

Loving the content guys!!! I go all the way back to the original O.G. Fruity Loops..... The demo at that!!! No VSTS... Not even a piano roll!!!!! that didnt come around until 3..... Stayed in demo mode until 7 bro!!! Got my Producer edition and they were not kidding about life time updates!!!! THIS product changed my life!!! Love It!!! FL Studio is absolutely amazing with it's newest updates I am able to make the beat from scratch, mix it, record vocals on it, mix the vocals and master the song as a whole. The fact that I can do all that in the same project I've started the beat in it's really amazing.
I was just telling my brother that my beats that hit the hardest I’m doing on an old Beats by Dre All In One Hp desktop running windows 8 😢…. I told him that if I can hear it hit on the built in speakers I know it slaps on my monitors… Knowing how to mix is key and I’m still learning new stuff daily…. Beetlejuice
Been producing on FL for 12 years now, releasing my second album this year. Always love hearing the discourse about different DAW’s because they’re all as powerful and capable of each other at this point, just have different workflows. And FL just happens to have one of the most intuitive workflows of them all. And the new features FL has like stem separation make it just as good for mixing as any other DAW. Oh weird, I mentioned FL 3 times and now it’s appeared on my screen… kinda like beetlejuice 🤔

Love this podcast, ya help me to better understand the plugins. Making music is not the problem for me, but with mastering and mixing I have to learn a lot. I was also thinking to try some waves plugins.

I made a full song on my HTC One using FL Mobile some years ago. From making the beat to recording and mixing the vocals. It's called "So Dangerous" by J2x. It's on my channel to this day.
These podcasts are very helpful because now I can listen when Im on the go and not able to look at my phone or laptop to see a screen. Thank you guys for starting this

Love what you said at 44:11. There be so many multi-fx plugins, magic 1 knob plugins, etc and people looking for the magic preset. Learn your basic effects like eq, compression, delays, limiting, etc. At the end of the day, all these multi-fx 1 knob magic plugins are just a combination of your basic effect with limited control.
We need podcasts like this, you guys cover so much in these videos! Oh and ....... Beatlejuice!!!

Beetle juice! Interesting topic you guys chose today. Didn’t know delay 3 was that dope, imma have to try it out.
I use the 3 band compressor as a desser. Bypass the low and mid and compress the high end and bring down the gain
I never used soundgoodizer till recently. And I use just about 30% of it cos it adds color to sounds when cranked. It changes the tone of sounds when a lot of it is used. I only started using it like a few months back, and I’ve been using FL studio since 97. 😏

When they added the "External Sync" feature, that did it for me! I have 7 MPCs and incorporating the MPC into my workflow along with FL is it for me!

Slayer had about 3 presents that were fucking awesome. 2 of them were undeniably good cos the sound like real rock guitars.
Soundgoodizer is multiband parallel compression, you can use it in the right way just using your ears.

I loooove this pod cast. I love all DAW gangs tho. I know FL very well, but the reason I moved from it to Ableton/logic, is the lack of a smart tool and not enough channels. For those of you that don’t use other daws, a smart tool is when you hover over a specific part of a clip, and it will automatically change to the tool you want (no more using a key command or mouse wheel to switch to tool or cut. Like how you hover to a corner to do a fade now, but it does it for all main tools. I promise you, if FL does this, it would change their game and would no longer be looked at as bad for vocals. The common thing I hear about FL is it not having a smart tool and being a nightmare for comping and doing professional pop vocals. I hope FL adds this. I would cry ❤

This gave me more knowledge of what i already thought i understood.
My most favourite is EQ2. The best EQ for simple tasks and it has almost no effect on CPU :)
Soundgoodizer isn't that bad, I like it, just to add a little "umpf" to a track, but is a mix/editing/design tool, not for mastering. The stereo separation knob on the mixer doesn't show in the compact view if is to short, make the window taller, it'll appear. (btw, beetle juice).

There's a stock desser preset in patcher - im not experienced with it but it is there - rheres also maximus as yall mentioned
you have your kicks / snares “turned all the way up” from the playlist or ch rack, does that mean pre fader Gain staging is out the window?

If you look at the demo projects the current one that comes up when you open FL for the first time uses soundgoodizer all over the place
I think know what Slayer’s problem is as a VST. You can make it feel more natural with the Strumming mode and playing with the settings but there’s no settings for Attack, Sustain, Delay, or Release. I think if Imageline went in and updated it to have that and make it more intuitive it would work. I prefer Ample Guitar or even LABS when it comes to a guitar sound personally because of the fact that they’re simple in functionality.
Maximumas clear RMS preset is my favorite. I use it as a limiter and everything it’s always last on my master chain
16:30 I just create an automation for the pitch in the sampler or the fruity wrapper. Or if I want to do something fx wise I’ll use Mfrequency shifter and tools macros last tweaked and changed the frequency. Edm producer btw

I mixed a verse for Wifiisfuneral in FL this year. I’m trying to get into making mixing content I just need a facecam and figure out this live voiceover with OBS stuff 😂
The browser and channel rack/piano roll is lower in volume because they made it like that for headroom, they set the default headroom at -8.2db. But they messed up the leveling of the browser with the 21.2 update, now its all off.

Bro I recording BandLab and it was my first time on fl ytd and I was so frustrated of how slow the work flow in fl. I got it down 5 hours later so I can record very fast on FL now. Imma start mixing it today. Wish me luck lmao

Yo I just subscribed bros! I can't do fl on my phone, pain in the a$$ 😂 I enjoyed hearing you guys talk about fl plug-ins. I agree Soundgoodizer is trash 🤣 I actually use Maximus even though I'm not a pro at mastering. I don't max my velocities on some kicks I use Cymatics Diablo effect plug-in to boost 808s and kicks. And sidechaining with proper attacks and cutoffs.. and make them hit harder than fire 🔥 😎
