An 84 pack is highly unlikely as the haslab pack we have has an 1984 mode and offers stickers to make it look more like the 1984 movie, but a wand that was based off of the og movie would be so cool

I wish Hasbro would do a trap next. I think the pack is so beautiful, I don't even want to paint it. For some reason, it looks real in photos and it also looks real next to my custom-built 84 pack. I think the only thing I would do to the Hasbro pack is see about switching out the hoses & fittings/connectors, add an ion arm cap that is actually screwed in place, give it the screen-accurate yellow sleeve, and possibly a battery pack of some sort. I have already done the ALICE frame on it. For the wand, It would be great to swap the wood grip for an actual wood grip (not sure if that's possible), give it the real metal fittings, give it a real Clippard valve, and just put a layer of gaffers tape over what's already there. Considering the fact that I already have an 84 pack, I may be one of the few that would love this thing to look as Afterlife as possible.
I like how they added a grip on that proton wand, it gives so much detail and it has a better grip to hold the proton wand, awesome video Jason! 😁😁😁😁😆😆😆👻👻👻🚫🚫🚫
Thanks Jason! On my personal pack, I used some resin grips I had lying around to mod the Spengler wand. I had to use metal putty to fill in gaps. But those are very nice!
Those grips sold out so fast! My front grip is the rounded one but I ended up getting the classic for the rear mostly cause it was "flying off the shelf". The minute I saw it in stock, I didn't even think twice, just mouse clicked a few times and done. Glad to hear more will be in stock in coming weeks! I can imagine a lot of folks may have missed out on the first batch.
if i had both the proton pack and Neutrona Wand i would leave it as is but putting glow in the dark paint on the stickers when you go in the dark it will look like slime
Just finished watching the video, quick question for you, on your wand, the light up barrel part to be exact, what did you use for weathering on the clear light up part? It looks amazing… looks like dirt
Grip nothing, someone come up with a connecting hose mod. The one the pack comes with is ridiculously rigid. You can see it in this video jutting out from the side. Little cumbersome to walk around with. Everything about the Hasbro set is incredible, very happy with everything... Except that stiff-as-a-board hose.
Could anyone do a Tutorial on how to sand and Paint properly these pieces? I know there are tutorials about sanding out there, but I just don't want to screw thes eup, and also try to get the closest Paint match to the wand. Thanks in advanced!!
My advice: Coat it a few times with Rust-Oleum Sandable Filler Primer. This will help fill in the gaps in the layer lines, and give you material that you can sand away smoothly without removing the plastic itself. Then it's just a matter of painting/clear coating.
I remember seeing the original grips on thingiverse for people who want to 3d print yourself. Has the seller said if they would be on thingiverse as well or just on etsy?
Jason do you have any communication issues between the pack and your wand? I got my pack yesterday and there's an issue with the umbilical cord. Looks like I'll be contacting Hasbro... As well as a defect with the stand.
a lot of people have been rolling two small pieces of foil and sticking them into the holes where the hose connects to the pack and it's clearing the issue up.
I have had this problem too. This may not be it but I think when you spin the umbilical cord to much it will start to unscrew it from the pack. Every time this happens with me I look at where it is connected through the pack and it is loose from twisting the cord around. You just have to be careful when moving the cord

So glad they came out today the day I got my pack. Just ordered the back grip to complete my neutrona wands look.

Yep! I released the file on thingiverse and cults 3D. The rear grip should also be made available later on.
