Trains at Solihull. CML. 11/08/2023.

A decent 2 hour stay here at Solihull on the Chiltern Mainline where we see plenty of services from Chiltern Railways, Cross Country, West Midlands Railway and Freight from DB Cargo UK and Freightliner.
It was enjoyable up until 168219 broke down at Dorridge. That happened and it also turns out there was a track fault in the Birmingham Moor Street area which meant nothing could come from there. It's an OK station to film at however I probably won't return. I feel like Dorridge and Tyseley are better stations where you can get the same traffic. I feel they also have better views up and down the line. I'm happy enough with what I got here today. As always it was nice to catch a 68 and also a 70 as a little bonus as well.
My next station will hopefully be Bromsgrove on the Lickey Line where we should see plenty of services from Cross Country, West Midlands Railway and hopefully some Freight as well.

Nice video mate. Good to catch Freightliner 70 and Chiltern 68 but is gone from good to worse that trains were cancelled ☹️

Great video as always. Hard to believe Solihull once had 4 platforms. It must've been really busy back then.

I sometimes struggle to believe it had 4 platforms myself. Look at it now, there's little to no evidence of the other 2.
