Temperature and Humidity Settings for Philips Dreamstation

  • Mark walks through how to adjust the relative humidity (three wavy lines next to the bottom number ) and the temperature (top number)
    *Remember*
    1. Increase the bottom number if you're getting dry, stuffed-up, runny nose. You're inceasing the relative humidity.
    2. The warmer the air is the more humidity it holds. So, if you max out the bottom number, start to change the temperature (top number)
    3. If it is too warm and swampy, decrease the temperature first, then the humidity.

    I was decreasing tube temp thinking that was mad flow not tube temp. Thank you so much, first non dry nose night in three weeks!

    So what is the unit for the temp? What do the numbers mean in terms of heater temp setting? For example 37 degrees C

    When my cpap got recalled Phillips has sent me the Phillips Respironics dreamstation. This cpap does not have a water line and my ent says i Need the water line. How do I contact philiips for the correct cpap. The cpap I had to mail back had a water line.
