Great stuff Mike ! It was a pleasure to model for you today...Anna
Thanks very much. Send me an email and I'll send you a high quality image of the painting.
Very nice work and easy to learn, hat's off to you
Thanks for the encouragement! Much appreciated. There is a consistent step-by-step process that simplifies my painting procedure whether for portraits or landscapes. Once understood and practiced painting becomes much more fluid and spontaneous.
Great demo and pastel painting. Wish I had not sold my big set of Holbein soft pastels. Thanks for posting this. dj hall
Thanks for encouragement. It's never too late to get another set.
Great video! I was just wondering what kind of paper you were using, is it a sanded surface?
Thanks for your comment. Yes, it was Wallis sanded paper, Belgian Mist. Unfortunately it is no longer available
what brand of pastels do you use?
Sorry for slow response. I use all the major brands, NuArt, Sennelier, Unison, Rembrandt, Ludwig. Mount Pleasant, Schmicke, etc.
